Hey! Well, that's my favourite Antimatter's album. I've seen many other names we have in common. Thanks for stopping by, cheers from Italy!

It's definitely their best one although I haven't really listened to the last two albums I have to admit. I should check them out. Saw them live acoustically a few years ago and it was fantastic. I hope the situation is getting better in italy :)

Well, then their latest acoustic release "An Epitaph" might be something worth checking out! Anyway, "Fear of a Unique Identity" is another great product. As to the situation here...I would like to say yes, but I'm not really sure. It's Summer, so the focus moved from the real issues to leisure and vacations... which seem to be people's priority now. I'd rather not comment on that! Thanks for asking, anyway ^_^ Hope the situation in your part of the globe is better than it is here :)

Happy 14th scrobbling anniversary today! ... How quick time passed by, listening to your >3100 bands ... May you be blessed with many more such musical cake days ... What do you fancy most about lastfm currently, and what did you like back when you joined here? ... btw: Here in Germany the politicians extended the steps against Corona virus, again. And in your country?

Hey there! Many thanks for your wishes ^_^ You had your 10th anniversary a while ago, so let me gladly wish you likewise! Back then, I liked the profile-customizing features and the fact it was easier to interact with people. But I still like it here! I've heard about the situation over there... Hope you and your loved ones are safe and sound, though! Here in Italy it's a circus, more or less... now it's Summer, so (according to politicians): "everything good, everything safe, problems magically disappeard, go people go on vacation!" ......... I'd rather not comment on that X_X"

So did you like Aeonian Sorrow? :) In Vain, usually cool enough with a lot of replayability. Also, I see you got stung by Amorphis - how's the track treating you so far?

I did like them, indeed! I was really surprised, 'cause there's been a lot of stuff out in the genre lately, but nothing seriously appealing and worth of. Pretty boring. Aeonian Sorrow caught in fact my attention in a very positive way. Still a bit too much funeral and a bit less death to my tastes, but I'm looking forward their (hopefully) new releases to hear what's to come! This first album is really promising. And The Bee stung me as well. Time after time! I can't get enough of Amorphis. It's going to be hard to resist until May. Tomi switching from growl to clean vocals always gives me goosebumps, and their transition patterns are so... so theirs! I've been seriously stung, see?! :D

They're not bad at all, though I agree on the funeral overkill. Still, a decent Draconian (ish) wannabe, also fits the weather outside :D The whole Amorphis record is gorgeous so I'd expect nothing less than addiction. Gladly, there are also a lot more diverse and complex tracks than the single, not that it's a bad one or anything :)

Can't say it's anything that much special though I'm acutely aware it's still a privilege. However, with it comes whole lot of mandatory things to do. I made it clear to some labels that due to the motherhood, I'm simply not going to cover that much ground nor write on every whim. So it's a two way street. I enjoy the live side of it all a lot more - the opportunity to interview the artists or simply chat with some during the PR campaign. Speaking about live performance, the mighty Insomnium played here nor long ago - considering they're one of my favourite bands, the disappointment was severe.

Understand. But still I think that when the passion is so high, the "duty" part weighs a little less. Plus, it's nice to know that there's still someone around who accepts the "family first" thing. We're not really used to that over here. Oh my. I haven't seen them live in ages, and this doesn't sound good at all. It tastes somehow bitter when it happens.

Can't say I put the whole family first but the few who really matter are always prioritized. I always thought Italians hold their family members with an extremely high regard but of course everyone is different :) As for the band, it's not like they screwed up - on the contrary, they were very solid on stage. My reservation comes from Winter's Gate being played in its entirety - of course, the tour is meant to promote it, but I remember even the band mentioning it's not exactly meant to be played live much as it offers a very intimate experience. Since it was their first time here, they could've thought the setlist over. I still heard some old favourite tracks like Weather the Storm, which would've been awesome if Mikael from DT joined them (oh well, I'm seeing DT soon enough on the headlining tour). The interaction with the crowd was very limited and they could've also played 20 min. more as scheduled. All in all, the gig was a bit of a waste for me.

Mh..let me say not much, and certainly not here in the city. But if I remember well, Therion are expected to play in Milan on March 1st, and then Dark Tranquillity with Equilibrium, and also Ensiferum are to play not far from Milan in late April. It's not far from here, but it's ALWAYS midweek and therefore off-limits to me :D How is it going with the baby-metalhead, by the way? <3

Hello! I hope you are having a good week. I think it's definitely the weather, having less daylight produces something. I live in southern Chile and the weather is "ugly", it rains a lot and in winter the days are short and very cold and I feel that the general people just want to get to their houses as fast as possible. But I like the weather like this, I can abstract myself in my thoughts and dreams. I'm free there. I am rambling too :) What part of Italy are you from? I love Laura Pausini, I prefer to listen to it in Italian. I like many things about Italy. I am fans of Roma and la Azzurra. :) Have a good weekend.
