Hi my friend! ;) I hadn't so much time, because of my final exams in high school, but everything is done and I'm waiting for the results. I hope, I get to the Finnish studies at the University of Warsaw. My life changed, but now I'm happy, because I do what I really want :) Recently I started a cooperation with a band called Reskrypt. My friends needed some help to promote their music, I was interested in their music skills and I thought I help them a little bit. Here's their fanpage: https://www.facebook.com/Reskrypt - they need likes to go on their first tour. You can listen their music here, there are 2 movies from the studio, but they need a support to make something more and go on stage. They won a music competition, but in Poland everything is harder. If you can, I'll be grateful for your help :) And what's about you?

Oh well, that's all good.I'll look forward to your summer :) I'm told we have an accent to I suppose everyone does. Ours is similar but not the same as the Australian accent. Of course this coming northern summer we will spend several weeks in the USA so I might end up with an American accent :P

I agree - the type of philosophy that is taught ibn school or university is very much the academic type, the other is learned through life experience and leaning from both the good and the bad experiences. :) Skype is is an ok programme. I have it. It is both a text message and cam to cam programme. In terms of video chat, I always thought it was better than MSN, video is clearer and it's faster. There is also the ability to make Skype phone calls to any phone in the world although you have to pay for that service, the rest of it is free. MSN Messenger is on the way out, and account holders are being asked to change to Skype. I don't have many people to talk to either now days, very few indeed, but having used MSN, Yahoo, ICQ and Skype in the past, I'd now choose Skype as being better than all of the others. I'd be happy to talk to you by text chat or cam/voice any time but obviously our time difference may make it occasional rather than regular.

Well that's nice of you to say but I think you will have a ball, even if you go on your own. You will meet people there that you will have something in common with - the music. I'm sure you won't be alone for long. Philosophy? That is a huge question to attempt to answer in a shout box!! I'm watching a documentary series on TV at the moment about the human race, from the dawn of time to the present day and they said that civilisation was spread by conquest. I think that is true, but I think the measure of a civilisation is it's art and philosophy. There seems to be 2 types of philosopher, the academic philosopher who tends to analyse society's problems and solving them, and what I call the "hands on philosopher" - the "wise person" who helps individuals with their problems. I have been called one of those by several people but I don't entirely believe it. It's true that I have had a lot of life experience and I do share that to help others.

That is one hell of a line up - It would be quite over whelming. True, I don't know all of the bands but I do know a lot of them. It's just huge!! I certainly hope you find someone to go with. Shit, I'd volunteer to go but it's a bit far plus I doubt you'd want to be seen there with some old fool!! Sorry to hear you've been sick and yes, exams are bad enough without being sick and having to do them. I hope you are fully recovered now. I wish you well with your exam results.

As for Win 8, I like it a lot. I love Win 7 and you're right, there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between 7 and 8. In fact I have altered my 8 to to look like 7. The biggest change in 8 is to make it compatible with touch screens which of course are all the rage. My laptop isn't touch screen which is why I have mine look like 7. I still use the 8 interface from time to time, it works ok with a mouse. As far as touch screens are concerned, I'll stick to my iPhone and iPad for now :P

When I started with computers and working with them I didn't have much spare cash either. That's why I started upgrading one and passing the spare parts on to the next one and buying another cheap one. Both my wife and I and our 2 kids were into pc's and the internet and gaming and it was the only way I could have enough computers for everyone to have the time on them that they wanted. Now they are grown up and doing their own thing I can pretty much please myself what I have. :P Aside from my 3 good ones, I also have an old laptop and a netbook which I use plus the 2 desktops I want to give away.

Haha weeds are not fragile, they are very robust and survive almost anywhere - and they grow very fast. :) As for computers, well yes, in the last few months I have bought 3 new computers. My games machine is an i7 3.6GHz with 16 gig of RAM, Geforce GTX 570 vid card with 1279meg of RAM running Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. My main internet & music PCc is an AMD quad 3.6MHz with 16 gig of RAM running Windows 7 Business 64 bit and a few weeks ago I bought a Sony Vaio i7 with 8 gig of RAM running Win 8 64bit so I'm a bit lucky to be honest. I have 2 desktop PC's running genuine XP to give away :P

Oh I'm fine. My operation was over a year ago now and I'm fully recovered. The family are all fine and the grandchildren are growing like weeds. :P The job market is so difficult now days, and there is so much pressure on people to succeed with their education so that they have a chance of a career. Advances in machines and technology have taken so my jobs for those who are not so academic. It's very sad but their futures are so very limited. There are even less jobs for apprentices wanting to learn a trade. However, naturally I wish you good luck for both your preparations and for the exams. As for university - don't worry too much, be true to yourself and your values and you may be surprised how many people you meet who think like you do.

I'm going to visit step-aerobics from the next week, i hope i'll loose more kilos than 3. Mmm..i decided that i won't go to the USA, cause i think that money which i should pay for my trip i would better give to my mom and for newborn brother, i guess, he will need them more than me. I'd better help my mom, i don't want to leave her alone.

And what about the music, i think you should listen to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iluv2qBdUZk they released this song specially for Halloween. I began to listen to Sleeping With Sirens recently and i immediately started to love them, cause they're really awesome. i love the voice of the vocalist - Kellin Quinn so much!!! i want him to be my husband, but he already has a wife and daughter T_T ahaha

I have 2 big news: first - is that i will go to USA in May next year for four months till September with the help of students' exchange programme "Work and Travel". I should pay for this programme, for american visa, for service of this company and for getting the passport for trips abroad - 3000$. I don't know where i'll get this money and how to get it, but mummy said that she will do all that she can do, everything for me - it's so cute. And second thing that MY MOM IS PREGNANT! so, in the end of April i will have little BROTHER!

Yeah, life sucks sometimes - as a wise man once said, "shit happens". Still, time itself is sweeping us away from those sad events, and with young grandchildren to shop for this Christmas, my mind is totally going to be on other things. And to be honest, that is as it should be. I'm lucky though - I made a video with my Dad about 10 years ago, of him talking about his early years, groing up in the 1920's and of the war years (he fought in North Africa and Italy) and although it is not complete, my grandchildren will see enough of their Great Granddad to know something of him. I'm glad you had a good trip and a busy time. There may be another occasion to visit LA in the future ...and I totally agree with you - I really don't like big cities. Auckland is our biggest and it has just over a million people and I hate it.
