I finally got the new A Hill to Die Upon release Omens, it's so awesome! You know if Zao has anything in the works? Haven't heard about them in a while.

I ordered Descend - Descend EP released in 2007 on a whim (death metal). It was released on Lament Records, I am very surprised at how good it is. I've uploaded a few of the songs to my YouTube and thought you might want to give it a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ya3WANNfvhk And I finally ordered both Metanoia albums. I should get them in a week or two so I'm pretty excited about that.

Yeah, I hope not. I have high hopes, but the band will just never be the same to me. If you get a chance, you should check out Second Thief's new EP Floodgates. Even though it's just an EP, I think it's my favorite deathcore release this year :) Also, have you heard anything about the new Trenches album? If it's going to come out soon, or ever?

I've never really got into Emery...the only album I really liked was The Weak's End. But you should totally listen to As the World Bleeds - it's such a masterpiece!

Have you had a chance to listen to the new Theocracy or In the Midst of Lions yet? Both are great albums!

Nice. To be honest, I can't really get into A Plea that much after their album "A Critique of Mind and Thought." They seem to have lost a lot of their originality...but maybe that's just me, I don't know. Two other albums I will probably pre-order are the new Theocracy and In the Midst of Lions. Have you had a chance to listen to new songs from either of them?

Hey man, how's it going? Have you had a chance to listen to the new Immortal Souls album? I think it's simply amazing!

Um, not in physical copy. But it has been released in digital format (iTunes etc). Anyway I think it's really good. As a concept album it's simply monstrous, and they also mature a good deal in their song structures :) I need to give TDWP a few more spins, but to be honest they aren't a band that I can really get into that much. Don't know why...

Your bio is just like my life haha. Shame we don't share as much music in common Your musical compatibility with Space-Cowboy892 is LOW Music you have in common includes As I Lay Dying, Linkin Park, Metallica, Eminem and System of A Down. So I suppose you think my music taste is all mainstream and shit huh?

Oh. That's lame. I hate when something like that happens. Yes, The Torment is pretty sweet. I need to pick it up one of these days. I especially love the track "Katie," it's so cool. I also really like the album artwork =D

Whoa, I love it. Not sure what they are talking about...do you have the link? In fact, it may become one of my favorite deathcore releases ever. The guitar playing is simply phenomenal and it's a great concept album as well. Read this: http://thenewreview.net/reviews/as-hell-retreats-volition.

I heard a few of A Hill to Die Upon - Omens on the last.fm radio...sounded pretty good, maybe better than their release? What do you think?

Ever listen to grindcore? I'm usually not too much of a fan of it, but was listening to last.fm radio the other day and found a band called Eternal Mystery. Their new CD murders! A mix of grindcore and death metal! And what luck, DMD carries it! I got that and another CD on the way. The other one is an extremely heavy death metal release by a band called Spirit's Breeze. Will let you know when I get that one in what it's like. Here's the link for EM: http://www.last.fm/music/Eternal+Mystery

Hey thanks for joining Christian Headbangers. I know you have already given me your list, but I did post an example of the album reviews that I will be doing in the forum. It's under the topic "Top 100 Christian Metal Albums of All Time." I think that I'm not missing anything, but you never know. If you have any ideas on how to make them better, I'm all ears!

Wow, Time to Die is a masterpiece. And I love how they have influences from not just death metal, but thrash metal, black metal, and even hardcore/punk.

Just got around to listening to Metanoia. I had heard of them before, but never listened to them. They are quite good! I'll have to listen to all of their stuff eventually and see if they deserve a spot on the list. The artwork looks pretty cool too, and is the same artist that did some for both Lament (Tears of a Leper) and Mortification.
