Hello new friend, I hope you have not been too closely affected by the recent atrocity? Mind you parts of London look like a battlefield right now. On a lighter note, - my compliments to you and your good taste. Best regards, Alan

Hi Stephenite! Thanks for poppin by and leaving a lovely comment. Great to hear that even now your head is in the clouds! As for the current music scene I haven't a clue either - I tend to prefer earlier music and the current artists I do like are usually independent and experimental. Hope you are still planting trees! :)

yes....., expectation of Rome.. This Finale will be absolute more interesting than Finale the last year. I am sure! But similarly, I slightly fear Barca. We do not know which one will go out Barca this bout. And this uncertainty guards. But, I am sure in our victory!! Eh, Tevez..... Probably we will no longer see him in a shirt of United. It is sad, I liked his game..

No problem...things are going well, thanks. I do owe you a "thanks" also for letting me know it didn't look like I was around. When I got a new laptop, I forgot all about re-installing the scrobbling plug-in and such, so nothing has been coming through. Figures - I rarely listen to Rascal Flatts anymore and mostly listen to Waylon, Reckless Kelly, Pat Green, Don Williams, etc...but the stats hadn't been coming through! Ugh. Oh well...in any case, thanks. It's always nice to see other Waylon fans on board. Gotta help keep his music and legacy alive! :)

i hope all is going well w your back. regarding husker du - keep in mind that in the usa we are not very sophisticated regarding languages and mostly just speak english. a foreign phrase, "qu'est que c'est," from a talking heads song seemed exotic to those guys so they decided on naming their band after a foreign board game! but they screwed up the umlauts!

"husker du" was a board game marketed in the united states when i, as well as bob mould of husker du, were children. as you know it means "do you remember?" in danish and norwegian. it was spelled: Hūsker Dū? the and used the two little dots (umlauts?) because they thought it looked more "heavy metal" if you can believe that - so it is a purposeful misspelling. great band, though!
