I am fine, thank you! :) How about yourself? And I am in a phase, where I am open to various kinds of music and try something new every day. It's been a very fruitful summer so far.

it doesn't sound cliche' :) It is very true that anything can inspire you, you just have to allow it :) thats what makes art so beautiful :D

Hmm films often captivate me, a good book, i tend to get inspiration when I am on the train actually, what about you what captivates your imagination? and I agree it has been lovely talking to you too :)

hahaha! you don't waffle! and I know what you mean, my blog used to be set to private but I asked someone to read a post once and they said it should be published: some of the ideas and a few posts are going in to the book I am creating about my artwork :) and you should definitely create a blog, it really is brilliant, I get quite a few people reading mine and it always surprises me so there will definitely be people wanting to read what you have to say! :)

Well I am a big fan of Robert Frank, Francesca woodman, Sam Taylor wood, Phil Artez, walker Evans, and bill viola, my fave artists are Rembrandt, Francis bacon, Gustav Klimt m.c Escher, Caravaggio and Egon schiele. I agree about traveling but I also tend to find solace in old decaying things (they always intrigue me), I will forewarn you that the blog is quite erm... personal, some people say it is more like reading someones journal but I like to have it run along side my work so that people understand the contexts of my work more :) do you have a blog?

(LOVED THE BAZINGA REF).... Well the camera I use most is my Canon 20D, I agree about the mistakes in art, over thinking does tend to stunt the creative process, so I normally plan big projects for around 6 months (time allowing). I like the idea Cartier Bresson called the decisive moment, that split second can make a truly revolutionary photograph, my blog is more like a photo/art journal: http://lucysvisualdiary.blogspot.com/ I talk a lot on the impact of the arts (usually on myself). Who is your favourite photographer/artist? :)

The animation is going to be a stop motion animation based on about 2000 SLR images, of a slowly moving figure not quite figured out the intricate bits yet but I hope it will work out :) I might reference your work in blog post tomorrow actually (if thats okay). Heard of Waltz with Bashir there were good reviews about, what do you think? and I am more of a Canon girl myself even my SLR's are canons the stuff I am doing at the moment is all SLR stuff (processing negatives is a bugger though), but I do like the effect :)

I suppose I am, but I do like a recurring theme/motif, I think it makes more sense to coincide with the film. I do agree with you about Avatar; but I do still listen to it as background music more than anything. as for my photography I am doing some lomography pieces at the moment: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.114693015289605.21999.105324822893091 they are about the borderline between reality and the surreal (I'm such an art nerd too), I am also doing a short animation for the same project. What kind of DSLR would you get? :)

I agree about rehashed stuff, requiem for a dream is a prime example! I listen to a lot of trailer music namely immediate and x ray dog stuff. Just checked your photography looks great, can't wait to see some more :)
