ModeneseAdriano
Good evening, I can't sleep myself at night wondering why the in flames tracks are so overplayed, a thorough explanation would be much appreciated. With best regards, ModeneseAdriano.

Soilwork: I would say that Rejection Role, although solid, is one of the weaker songs on the album. SO YES, CHECK IT OUT (along with the other albums). You won't be sorry! Natural Born Chaos = fast, aggressive, atmospheric metal. Figure Number Five = Rhythmic, crunching groove metal. Chainheart Machine = Old Skool Soilwork Melodic Death Metal (with piercing melodies) A Predators Portrait = a mix of old and new Soilwork. \m/

Btw, you don't seem to have any Soilwork in your library. What is this travesty?! Their last album wasn't fantastic, but they have some great records (The Chainheart Machine, A Predator's Portrait, Natural Born Chaos and Figure Number Five being the stand out ones). Check them out if you haven't already! Their aggression, melodies and keyboards are just epic.

Ultimately I found it to be a piece of complete and utter rubbish, if I'm honest mate. Very much in the same vein as "A Sense of Purpose". The vocals just seem to grate on me in a way that is largely indescribable - they just sound shoddy and "plastic". The guitar arrangements are competent at best and nothing new is offered in terms of progression and/or direction. I do remember being mildly impressed by one of the riffs in a specific song, but beyond that I just can't find any real positives. I will say that it is a slight improvement on the last record, however. I haven't really been a major fan of In Flames since RTR, but at least CC and STY offered some interesting arrangements, melodies and sounds - this album, like the last, is just bland and worthless to me.
