Good response, haha. Anyway, the WitTR show I went to was excellent too. The only real complaint I had was that the sound in the venue I was at came off as a little poor. Otherwise, great show.

Even aside from elitist-hatred of them, JFAC never really struck me as that great. Maybe I'm just not wowed by Deathcore. (DISCUSS) Anyway, really, how was the WitTR show?

You're absolutely right about him looking like an Orc. That's very astute. I have a feeling that this will be a great show, I haven't heard the two other bands, but they should be nice as well.

Yeah, they were really lame when I saw them last year, all this tough-guy posturing. Their bass player seems like an asshole, he thumped his chest when he played. It was actually kind of funny. Are you still going to see Wolves in the Throne Room tonight? Berbati's will probably attract a slightly older clientele, and that should make the show more enjoyable. I don't know if you've ever been there before, but it's a little different then what we're accustomed to.

Haha, when I saw Goatwhore on Monday, some drunk guy stage-dived right on top of me. I don't know what he was thinking, as the Satyricon wasn't crowded enough for that to work, so all he ended up accomplishing was taking me to the ground. I hate all of the slutty women that go to shows dressed up like some plastic doll. They get drunk sometimes, and then try to rub their syphilis-infected body on every male they see. It infuriates me when people out side of the center try to start a fight with everyone. What misbehavior's in particular do you see? I am very interested to hear about your experiences. I understand what you're saying about deathcore, though I can't really get into it.

Oh shit, please tell me about it. I know what you mean about the culture, most of the self-professed 'metalheads' are assholes. Still though, the swarming scene kids and pseudo-goths don't really count as a part of the metal culture. Did you see Slayer?

I haven't listened to Ceremonial Castings in a while. I don't know. I will assume that I still like them until I come to a different conclusion.

I thought it was greatly inferior to the original, but it was a decent film in terms of a D&D-reminiscent epic. Perhaps I rated it a tad too high. A 3.0 seems more realistic for now.

lol, it's been hovering around 88-87 tracks per day for a month and a half now. I need to find some trve nsbm, but the majority of it are shitty bands like Aglare Light without the novelty. I find myself leaving the path of symphonic black metal, unto more raw and atmospheric sounding styles.

Indeed, a massive amount of songs. I need to do something with my life besides listening to music... It was only around 12,000 when I signed up March last year.

Liked the new Behemoth, eh? I only gave it one listen so far, but I think I'll spin it again today.

Yeah, I really like it so far, most metalheads (ugh, I hate that term) seem to have a bias against new albums, it's almost as if they are lost in their nostalgia. Daimonos is probably my favroite track, though I miss the trumpets on The Apostasy, the subtle choirs are a very nice touch.

I'll try not to. But I find the stupidity of others much too hard to not mock them. It you want to see something weird, check out my recent activity on my page. It says "You left [artist]Basil Poledouris[/artist] a shout. yesterday morning" But on his page, there is no shout from me. The same thing happened with Portal. I think the mods are deleting my shouts using some mysterious internet-KGB method.

I think it was for posting on the Michal Jackson shoutbox. HairMetalAddict deleted several of my latest shouts, all of which were benign. Frankly, I'm surprised that it took them this long to warn me, as I've actually tuned down my trolling in the last few months. I don't want to get banned, however that may prove inevitable. There's always libre.fm.

You need to check out the new Behemoth album, it's possibly the best album they've ever done.

what kind were they? about 4 of those would have me feeling pretty good. i smoked n,n-DMT last week and broke through outside during the biggest lightning storm ive ever witnessed and it was the most amazing experience ever, i cant even put it into words how i felt or thought.

Wow, your charts have changed a lot, very nice. So here comes the recs once again, haha. Check out Corrupted, Eyehategod, Grief, Dystopia, Moss, Noothgrush, Cough. I would throw Neurosis in that list, but I don't consider them Sludge but they are like my favorite band, so check em out if you haven't! Hope you enjoy the bands this time, it's such a great genre.

I'll give it a listen just focusing on the track. Last time I was eating cereal while listening to it, so that may have disrupted the atmosphere.

oh fa sho, make sure to listen to it with the peacebone b-side Safer, that track is just illin too. i cant really put it into words why i like s-jam better, theres just something to it in the feelings, lyrics, sound manip, all the little nuances that build up to something otherworldly. mpp is glossier and just about as good in a way diff way.

Since you seem to be listening to a lot of music while high, let me know in any future recommendations if you feel that the particular piece of music is enjoyable when high. I'm too much of a pussy to do drugs, so I might not be hearing what you're hearing exactly. Though I'm always kind-of tripping out, but that's what happens when you've spent far too much time alone...

[REC] is very very good. It has Blair Witch camera style but uses it incredibly well. Feel like you're really there. Yeah, Year One. not worth mentioning. :| Art of Self-Defense is not my favorite record of theirs but it is indeed awesome. 10,000 Years is my favorite. and I'm going to bed... "goodnight, and good luck"

Indeed indeed! I know what you mean...I saw Year One with a couple friends of mine. I like Michael Cera but that was just childish. decent laughs at best. I would probably explode if I saw a film like [REC] in theatres though. Not sure if you're familiar with it.... if not, look into it and watch.

It was alright, I got bored rather quickly, and I left after Nachtmystium. The venue was very crowded and it seemed that most of the people there were hard rock types who were just there for the tameness of Pentagram. They played most of Leviathan's The Tenth Sub Level of Suicide when the first band was setting up, so that must have scared some of them. Venetian Snares seemed too chaotic for me, whether due to the nature of the genre, or this particular album, I couldn't enjoy the "drumming", it seemed fake and unnecessary. It was an okay album, but I doubt that I'll ever listen to it again. You are probably right about My Bloody Valentine, I'll give it another listen in the next few days and see if I can revise my opinion. Happy Birthday, by the way...

Oh alright, I get it. I'm a music guy too (obvious as hell) but I love films almost as much as music. Going for 100+ movies viewed this year. BUT pretty much nothing beats a great concert.

haha that sucks! That's great, I need to start watching Kurosawa's films. I wouldn't really suggest getting both Chaplin movies at the same time (a little variety?) but whatever you want, they are both classics.
