So how'd you enjoy the show? I had a great fucking time, despite getting somewhat destroyed in the 'mosh' pit, my neck is fucking killing me. Dunno if you saw me or not, I was the skinny dude getting bounced around all over the place, lol.

Check out the new btbam album anymore? I think it honestly sounds a bit dream theater'ish, especially with the emphasis on more clean vocals, and i'm more than fine with that, probably because Tommy doesn't haven a corny as all fuck, vibrato-ridden power metal voice like James Labrie does

I generally have a near impossible time keeping track of every single last.fm friend, so I don't precisely know when or where I added you (probably something /mu/ related, lol). But either way I noticed you're also going to that BTBAM show in buffalo next month as well! I'm pretty fucking pumped for it myself, can't wait to hear Coma Ecliptic from start to finish live.

Hello Alex, since you're open-minded about music suggestions. I'd appreciate feedback about [url=http://www.last.fm/user/Erkan-Yilmaz/journal/2014/12/23/6clrgm_compositions]my own releases[/url]. As orientation for you: I tagged my album tracks mostly with [tag]violin[/tag], [tag]wood and string[/tag], [tag]minimal[/tag], [tag]piano[/tag], [tag]experimental[/tag]... [url=http://skilledtests.com/wiki/Music_compositions_listeners]Here[/url] you can see which tracks other listeners liked most.

btw WANNA GO TO DAT YOUNG ST. VINCENT CONCERT (I was going to ask on RBO but I always feel weird reinforcing the fact that we know each other really well + IRL for some reason, maybe because it would just be me and you talking in a thread and it wouldn't really be the place but ANYWAY YEAH I might drag Alex along too, and idk if Alexis is into St. V but THE MORE THE MERRIER)

Hey man. Dunno if you know yet, but Steven Wilson is coming to the ballroom. I'm definitely trying to go, it should be an amazing gig.

I've never seen Megadeth live either. But I'm quite sure that it's going to be an awesome one. As far as I know Buffalo has only one root of public transportation, do you know if that goes to the Niagara Falls area at all? I just checked Google maps and it seems there's 30 minute walk from Niagara falls to this theater.

Yeah I didn't take anything either; however I was in the front rows and could get a drumstick from Jeremy! Megadeth is having a performance in Nov, but I probably can't attend as I probably won't be able to pay at least 75$. Also I'm new in Buffalo, and have nooo idea how to get to the Rapids Theater! I want to see them live badly, though. BTW thanks for the friend request,

Maybe, maybe indeed. Hey, we are all originally from Africa so I guess we're all related somehow haha. By the way, have fun seeing Clutch, I wish they'd come down here sometime cause they're a wicked band!

Do you know any good modern experimental rock bands that aren't really prog? I know a lot of the modern prog bands but I'm trying to find more "indie" stuff. Most of it sounds very retro though. Not very many groups covering new ground.

Oh, I've got nothing against it; what's weird is that I live about an hour and a half away. A friend and I were thinking about coming up for the M83 concert May 7th.

See you've been listening to Ghost Reveries. I've listened to it a few times, but I cannot into Opeth at all since most of the time I think a new song is starting when it's just a new section of the same song I'm on. Also, kind of weird seeing that you live in Buffalo.
