Hey there! I don't know if you're aware, but Ronnie Martin of Joy Electric has a new album out called From The Womb Of The Morning, The Dew Of Your Youth Will Be Yours. He released it using his name instead of Joy Electric. It's pretty much JE with big 80's sounding drums. It's really good

Wow it's been over a year since your message, and I just now saw it! Thank you so much, I didn't know about this at all! I thought he retired completely from music so I stopped trying to keep up with news. I appreciate you! Take care!

I saw you as a top listener on the Fu Xi page! D: I'd like to see Arkona & Huntress, but I don't know that it's in the cards. I have sooooo much traveling to do this month and I'm already on a budget.

:D My friend Jon in Chicago introduced me to In the Quiet Road early last year. It's a really beautiful album. How did you come across them?

The only reason I noticed was because I was checking the tour dates for Ancient VVisdom. Too bad I didn't do it a couple days ago.

I enjoyed all of the bands! HATE was a HUGE surprise for me, I couldn't get into them before, but they stole the show. Mayhem was ok, mainly watched them so I could say I saw them and met them. Always been a huge AW and KoK fan, so that was awesome. I got a drumstick from the KoK drummer and chilled with Torbjorn of Keep of Kalessin, Mortifer of Hate, all of Abigail Williams and Necrobutcher from Mayhem. and by chilled I actually mean hang out for 10+minutes chatting lol

Agalloch were very good. The show just seemed to go by so quickly, just like Ihsahn's did. Afterward, I had a chance to meet the guys and got some pictures with the band. I was with some really good friends too, and it really was an amazing night. I've been listening to Agalloch since 1999

So who are you seeing tonight? You should list your shows on last.fm so I can spy on them. haha. Did Agalloch go to Minneapolis on their tour earlier this year? They were so good. two best bands I've seen this year, Agalloch and Ihsahn....Nice list of bands, some of them I don't even know. I'm not much of a Dark Funeral fan, but I'm still going to see them when they come by next year. It should be a lot of fun.

Sorry about that! Yeah, last.fm can be very misleading. I have listened to a ton more music over the past few years that just what shows up on these charts. Who are your favorite black metal bands? Other than Ihsahn, of course, :)

Yeah, Avichi is black metal, and you don't strike me as the kind of person who would enjoy black metal. I listen to a ton of it actually. I'm really curious, as someone who is just now getting into metal, why did you go to Prog/Power?

It's goin', haha. Been promoting OhioProg 2012 hard. I always have been using last.fm since I signed up but I kind of abandoned the website for a little bit. Obviously I realized the potential to reach out to possible fans to attend the fest and have been back on the site more often. But I'm finding a lot of new things to love about the site too. Every app I use on my phone has to have some last.fm support though, gotta love that!

You do like a lot of different genres! And yeah, troll all ya want! Well, I can force myself to listen to this kind of thing any time of year, but this is the best.

I'll post my response soon enough because I'm waiting on my proofreading girlfriend Michelle to read it so I don't look like a freak. xD Because when I feel so strongly about something I tend to ramble a bit much. x_x Hopefully, she comes on soon but I don't think she will until the 4th because of something having to do with her internet. ~_~;;;

Well, Baton Rouge is still supposed to flood a bit (my aunt and half-sister live there) but for the most part, my family is in Lake Charles, New Orleans and Slidell. I feel really bad for the people that DID get flooded out though. It'll take her six weeks but she's recovering pretty well. At least you have SOME kind of work though! D8 The pickings are just really slim up here in my part of VA. I've filled out at least 70 applications, only had like 3 interviews and NOTHING. Well, if you have nearly every single song that's already in your last.fm library, this will help get those playcounts back. It gets confused if there are duplicate tracks though. I HATE that the date got pushed back three weeks (June 1 ----> June 22) but at least that's the week before my birthday...so yay. I ONLY use CDJapan...after YesAsia dicked around with my order that time, NEVER AGAIN. D8<

URRRGH, still jobless, ready to give up job hunting (for now), worried to death about all my relatives in Louisiana (even my scary half-sister), etc. My mom had shoulder replacement surgery last week so I'm looking after her while she recovers. I have my copies of FLAGS all preordered, though (PLEASE HURRY, JUNE 22). Well, as you know, I'd been wanting to change it for a while but had no idea how to keep my playcounts. I found a program that helped with that...for the most part (it scrambled some of the more-frequently-played tracks' playcounts). Also I'm obsessed with the himegyaru magazine 小悪魔 ageha and thought it would be an awesome username.
