Why thank you, SUPER it is then! I would love to see either or both of them... if I could only persuade them to visit the Tulsa area LOL. Actually I am constantly looking for and making new musical discoveries. Judging by compatibility, I'd be happy to stop by your page while I'm on vacation and give you some new leads. With that said, do you have a preference on genre? If not, I'll recommend some of my favorite discoveries in the last few months. TGIF and have a good weekend!

Recently I have been getting into a lot of folky, contemporary musicians, a few you might not have heard of are Jens Lenkman and Rilo Kiley, also artists like El Perro del Mar and the Monsters of Folk. I love bands/artists that play uncommon instruments, Dent May and His Magnificent Ukulele is particularly great. Also, just a few reccomendations: Can't Get it Out of My Head-John Paul White and Mason Jennings-Butterfly. Wonderful tracks. :)

oh that is a really, really tough question. I love Radiohead from the very depths of my being.. hahah so maybe them? but I have a little hesitancy when saying that. Maybe I secretly love another band more. Metric maybe? Indecision, indecision. I guess Ill have to leave you with that. Lame as it is. Radiohead, Metric, and Grizzly Bear.

My personaly favorite is really the entirety of the Life Pursuit album, it is really macabre while being perky at the same time. Although for the Price of a Cup of Tea holds a special place in my heart. White Collar Boy is just wonderful because it would be a situation a guy would become stuck in. haha

Haha, a great coincidence than, have you delved much into Belle & Sebestian other than just being a recent favorite?

Definitely dig the music selection here, what got you into the Flaming Lips and Grandaddy? Also who can argue that Simon and Garfunkel aren't amazing as well...

"people group Muse and Radiohead, imo, largely because of the operatic male voices over progressive music. Obviously. They sound similar" I have to disagree there. Muse does not sound anything like Radiohead at all. Muse started as a copy of Radiohead (at least the sound Radiohead did at that time), and Muse did some nice things to that sound and envolved it. But Radiohead started to did something totally different (like they always do after 1 or 2 albums)

We do, we do. It's a good way to introduce music to each other. (: I am most appealed to music with decent meaning and heart. Probably why I enjoy the melody's of Conor and Mr. Cobain so very much! You do too. I love people who can do so.It is actually very up lifting and exiting, (:

Oh man, you are completely right! Stole the thoughts right out of my head! Conor writes in this abstract kind of way that's so beautiful. Kurt, he is one original song-writer. You have very, very good taste in music!
