Hi, Thanks for accepting my friend request. I look forwarding to listening to your favourites and finding groups and tracks i haven't heard of before, or re-acquainting myself with music i haven't heard for years.

There's a good chance they will be back there again. They're not going away any time soon :)

Heya :) I just noticed you'd been listening to The Grapes of Wrath lately and wondered if you knew they were touring again? If you're interested, they've got a Facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Grapes-Of-Wrath/125786907433634

Hi there! Gosh, you listen to so much music. Are you a fan of Big Country? I saw them on your album list but nothing indicated to me how you actually felt about their music. I just started listening to The Crossing very recently and it's really quite good, it's not something I'd normally be into. It's sort of everyman's rock music, like... maybe Scottish Bruce Springsteen? :)

Don't know if you remember me from lyrics quiz -but thanks for pointing out Alison Moyet/Dave Freeman duet 'Sleep Like Breathing'. i-tunes mixed up tracks, which made it interesting.(Curse of D. F.?) Couldn't get on with Soulseek though. Noticed (eavsdropping, sorry) you're talking about Leonard Cohen. Love that man (& his voice). Even The Jesus&Mary Chain covered T.of Song - But you prob. knew that!

Hi, friend - so, I noticed in your collection that United States Live is in your top 20 favourite albums (the full 100 has several of my all-time faves too)... I just started listening to it today, on the last disc... Just... It's... so... massive. Laurie rules. Hard.

My dad liked a lot of female stuff like that but somehow missed Kate and the like, he was big into those, some Blondie, Pretenders, Joan Jett, Patti Smith he liked some...

My father had Martha and the Muffins and the Motels in my house growing up, so I've grown familiar and fond of both, but most especially 'Metro Music.' Isn't it the weirdest? Great singers, them Marthas.

Wow, you've been doing the same things as me, actually. Addicted to Sims 2 and Crackbook at the moment. And I am very fond of it. It's so different. I've been working on a review for it for a long time, same with Big Science. Big Science is my favourite Laurie, though. I need United States Live badly!

How long did it take you to make a total album list. I've been working on my discog in several places and I can't find the energy or means to do all of my albums.

*laughs* Oh, there's about 200 files of that on my PC, and a lot are very short recordings, so that's how they sneak a lot in there. I have never listened to the whole thing. It intrigued me when I found it, though.

Somehow our match went down. It might have been my having Jim Croce on repeat for nearly an hour today.

It's pretty evenly split between Tori herself and Tori and a single co-writer in the band. I cannot get enough of Cool on Your Island lately!

Look them up on Dogpile, the whole album is on a bootleg site. It's a very commonly bootlegged album because they stopped printing it cos it didn't sell. This was before Little Earthquakes. Cool on Your Island and Floating City are your best bets for first tracks.

I see some Summers/Fripp popping up on your charts - I never did ask what you thought of those albums (consider it asked now).
