Thank you and likewise - if I follow folks I don't personally know, it's because I feel I might learn something from them (or their library). We have to keep this ancient website alive, it's a nice reminder of when the Internet was actually interesting.

Yes, it's really great! I liked their debut as well; not sure if you listened to that one yet. It's funny - I actually had thought about recommending "Unruh" to you but I thought you would have already heard it - since in the past every time I have thought to recommend something the album was already in your RYM ratings, hah. Next time, then. Happy New Year to you as well.

i see you were listening to Bedouin Temple. this is a super unknown project from the area where i live, going to see them next month, pretty excited. the album in its entirety is not perfect, it could have been even better, but i like the doomy, ritualistic vibes. PS: here some nice wintery nordic folk music: https://bardsofskadi.bandcamp.com

Yes, about the Bedouin Temple, I only happened to see it because of the HauRuck/DB connection and decided to try it on a whim. I guess I don't really listen to that type of music as often but I did enjoy it. Thanks for the Bards of Skaði suggestion! I saw Nordvis was releasing it but honestly the cover and project name didn't really give a good enough impression for me to even bother to check out the samples. Now based on the samples alone I decided to purchase it.

Yeah, I had seen it mentioned as the second part of a trilogy that supposedly began with "Patria" but was skeptical of its actual release coming to fruition. It's good though; I like it more than "Noitanaama."

Great taste! Awesome to see someone else listening to Muvitium! Also what is your name in reference to?!? Lol

Thanks! Agree on Muvitium, most of Swartadauthuz's material is consistently quality stuff. The user name is kind of an inside joke that from a BM band that I was in 20 years ago; difficult to explain really. I see a Philly event in your events list, are you from the area?

No, unfortunately that was two computers ago and before I started backing things up diligently. That's a shame that they are lost. I have lost contact with everyone from those groups.
