There is this project called Playing For Change and I think you will like the results. There are a few popular music people, most are just real street performers mixed by professionals. Check it out and let me know what you think. Check out some of the other videos too, they are usually worth it. http://www.playingforchange.com/episodes/47/Gimme_Shelter

thanks for the shout! my musical base is somewhere in the mix of americana/alt country/bluegrass/folk/blues...but i have a special place in my heart for lots of artists that are not anywhere near that area of the spectrum, and kanye is certainly one of them. I think college dropout is one of my favorite albums ever, barely beat out by Ryan Adams Heartbreaker and Neil Young's After the Gold Rush

Not yet, I'll stay with Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga for a few days, then I try this one. Btw, The Ghost of You Lingers is like, one of the least listened Spoon songs in you library lol Don't you like it? Anyway, there's a lot of stuff in your library that I don't know, I'd like to try something new but don't know what to choose, would you recommend me something? Doesn't exactly need to be something similar to Spoon.

Hey, I've already listened to the album a few times and it really has some pretty good songs. I really liked "The Ghost Of You Lingers", "You Got Yr. Cherry Bomb" and "Don't You Evah" ;)

Yayy, Sverige! I'll write more tomorrow, but one of my favorite, lesser-known Swedish bands are Ebba Gron...first gen punk, do you know them? Totally catchy but still aggressive, too. Check them out. Also, judging from your profile, you are either from or have spent some time in Sweden...and either way, I am totally javla jealous.

Nope I am not on twitter, Iam resisting as long as I can. I spent years without a cell phone and loved it. I am an engineer with Luddite tendencies. Are you going to his CD release show at the Fox?

I've given up on figuring out how that little bar works. "Oh hey, y'all both listened to that chicken cherry cola song that one time. Kickin'."
