And what about this moment? It was a real bomb. Incredible how at those times even something like Top of the Pop was a decent show to have fun.

Yes, it is so. I've seen her for the first time in the Hyperballad video, when i was about 8 or 9, it completely dazzled my brain with a mark that I still have today. She changed many lives I suppose, with her voice and her music. She is what a complete artist should be, in continuous journey, discovering new things, concepts, ideas, assuming different forms and dynamics, without being influenced by anything except herself. Thanks to Vulnicura I had a stroke for the umpteenth time, Bjork has channeled her pain into pure brilliance. Oh, good show with Viet Cong.

The deleterious side of human consciousness in art is a great object of interest, definitely. You have complex artists as well. Got enthralled by Vulnicura, don't you?

No problem. Thanks, you have a great taste yourself. I haven't really been listening to Beck since now...just singles you would hear on radio/tv or songs that appeared in movies..but came across this one song from his new album on YouTube the other day and i really liked it so i decided to get the whole album. And it is really, really good. Very mellow and calm. Considering the stuff that you like i think you would enjoy it.

Hey! Likewise, you really listen to some prime tunes! I thought last night's show was awesome...dunno if I've ever heard anything so loud actually..pretty cool contrast to how chill Bilinda was the whole time. looks like you live in Seattle, too? i just moved here. maybe I'll see ya around at a concert!

Oh cool, I had no idea they were playing a show here soon; I really love their album! Plus Rotture's fun. I'll be going for sure. Definitely get a hold of me, we can get food and drinks before!

I have October Language however I haven't listened to it nearly as much as Common Era. Common Era was probably my favorite album of 2011 - I can't even tell you how many times I've listened to that album, it's ridiculous. I've only listened to October Language once all the way through and a few tracks here and there. I'll try it out as a bedtime story soon and see how it treats me.

Hey! I wish I would have thought to ask to go to the show with you! I went alone! But it was still fantastic! The Rip, WANDERING STAR, Glory Box, Machine Gun, THREADS, Roads!!!! My jaw was open the whole show, I was hypnotized! I was probably contributing to that weed smell, lol, I brought my pipe and just smoked all night - the security was surprisingly lax in that department. :) I spent the night in my car and spent all of the next day exploring Seattle. I've been before but only for brief periods. I went downtown and then took a hike in Discovery Park and looked at the sound; I was impressed!

Oh yes, her whole debut is pretty great, she's got some new stuff for her follow up Electra Heart, but I'm not feeling it just as much. Also, I am pretty excited for The Antlers. I haven't been able to do too much since school started again, but it's certainly one of my major priorities this year.

yeah, catchy isnt it ;) some nice melodies there. Too bad she reformed the band without the previous members...but the last album isn't that bad either. I just realised how wide is your music taste...is/are there any certain mutual factors which decide, that you will listen to certain band/ artist? like for instance atmoshpere or dunno, becuase they're indie? (sry for my eng.)

I have checked Marissa Nadler's albums, and they are veeery good, remind me a bit of Espers and Anne Marie Almedal. I even don't know how to categorize this style, it's not typical folk, like you know, the traditional thing, which name seems to be very much overused these days imo... maybe acoustic-ethereal-dream pop? or neofolk? don't know...I'm quite new to this "singer-songwriter" style. Anyway thanks for the recc :) "keep 'em comming" :p And yeah, you MUST check PJ's latest album.
