Sorry to bother, but where did you find Alcoholic Faith Mission's new EP?? Or did you buy it? I'm really eager to hear this! :/

God, me too. Outlaster is the first of hers I've heard and I'm totally in love. It sounds like all her albums are really high quality but have pretty different sounds based on her collaborators, so I think it's going to be super fun to work through the back catalog. This Peel session is great--Tuvan throat singer!! http://www.swanfungus.com/2010/01/nina-nastasia-huun-huur-tu-live-at-peel-acres-june-10th-2004.html

Yes, they're that bad live. Can't judge compared to their albums as I haven't got them, but yes so bad they're the only band I've ever walked out on mid-gig.

Very much so. In fact, under the BPB name I mostly only like that one, I See a Darkness and Summer in the Southeast. The rest are decent, but have too much of the female vocals. I prefer the Palace stuff.

Yeah, that hit me the other day. I realized that I haven't branched out to any new music in quite some time because my tMG addiction has been kicked into high gear lately. It makes me slightly uncomfortable, but not enough to kick the habit.
