yeah, some good stuff. Really glad they went back to their signature sound. Vintage is the new modern. :)

Have you heard the new/old Hidden Cameras single "Gay Goth Scene" yet? It is GLORIOUS (and only 10+ years in the making).

Surely you're forgetting - at the very least - "I didn't get where I am today" in the great-PSB-b-sides-since-"Delusions of grandeur" category?

Sorry for the late response, but thank you! Monarchy, The Sound of Arrows, Dragonette, I'm sure I could find a new band to follow in your library. Maybe two or three.

The Trouser Enthusiasts just did their first remix in about a decade, so it's within the realm of possibility that they could remix for PSB on this upcoming album. They're one of my favorite remixers ever. http://xolondon.blogspot.com/2012/04/trouser-enthusiasts-return-with-feeling.html

I'm generally not excited by instrumental versions of vocal tracks but the instrumental version of 'Voyage' is fantastic - there are so many little nuances that pop out with the vocals stripped out. I came to the Whip through the 'Divebomb' single on Kitsune whatever year that was and have been obsessed ever since - saw them open for (ugh) Deadmau5 in Toronto later that year and they were only allowed time for 5 songs! Lame! (They were 5 REALLY good songs, though!)

'Voyage' is, I feel, going to go down as one of my favorite albums of the past five years when all is said and done. So magical. And The Whip and Mirrors? Are we some sort of musical doppelgänger?

Thanks, I can't recommend the "Somewhere in Time" soundtrack enough makes a potentially cheesy TV movie sublime!

Sinead's sounding great these days - her album is a throwback to the early 90s I'd say. My favourite at the moment is Old Lady. Some of the songs seem like rehashes of songs off of previous albums, so that part is a bit disappointing. She's fired up again, though, and I like it :)
