hii, i saw that you are looking for two door cinema club tickets - have you tried highlife? it doesn't say sold out on their website (although it hasn't been updated since the 11th) but it's worth a shot if you haven't checked it out already!

And I must say I envy you SO much for having seen Tori live! She's one of my fave! And also for Natalie Merchant, Morrissey, Travis... those I also dream of. :) I have just seen Snow Patrol here, they're so cute!

Oh no, I haven't heard that show, I'll look for it, that's for sure! I just can't stop thinking about this show... I could barely work today. LOL Here in Brazil we don't have many gigs as you guys have in the US... so our audience is one of the most enthusiastic! B&S is my favorite band since 2000 and these 2 concerts will definitely be something special to me. Hope I can get a setlist! I got the one from the 2001 gig. :)

OH God, I'm Waking Up to Us must be a beauty live! Judy is so incredible, they played back in 2001... that trumpet is really something! :)

OMG you're so lucky! I have seen them only once in 2001, the first time they came to Brazil. It was so awsome, I stayed in line for hours just to see them from the front row! And this week they'll be playing here in São Paulo on Wednesday and in Rio de Janeiro on Friday, and I'm going to both concerts. :) Oh your Portuguese seems great! :D Very few Americans are interested in our language. I'll get back to you to tell about the concerts! My favorite record is If You're Feeling Sinister, but I like them all and I'm so excited to hear the new songs live! My favorite one is Come On Sister and I'm Not Living in the Real World. :o) Well I've said enough, lol cheers! =D

Hey you! I'm watching your video of Judy and the Dream of Horses by Belle & Sebastian in Seattle and I'm AMAZED! So excited because they'll be playing here, in Brazil, next week! :) Thanks for sharing the setlist and the video. =)

Some Friendly is a classic but Tellin Stories and The Charlatans are probably my favourites. Seeing them next week with Happy Mondays Shaun Rider for support.

Just noticed you're going to a load of gigs in Seattle. I've got a friend going there late August was wondering if you knew of any good music venues to visit that I could recommend to her?

I just keep my iTunes on shuffle and with my insane music collection I end up listening to lots of rather random stuff. Sometimes it produces lovely contrasts like Cole Porter followed by Marylin Manson. You've got some great diversity in your play list too :)

Yeah maybe so! I guess they'll be wanting to tour High Violet material as much as possible but there's always room for an odd favourite or two.

I assume they played Abel and Mr. November then? Matt's voice is a powerful force when it needs to be, sends shivers up my spine. Boxer is one of my all time favourite albums but High Violet is shaping up to be pretty perfect too.

Ah lucky! Plus you have a ton of great events coming up, I love The National. Not many bands tour where I live so I often travel by plane to the next biggest city. I hope to move there in the coming months. Thanks for the friend request too by the way.

Thank you, same to you! Yeah I'm pretty excited for that event, should be a huge party. The venue isn't that great because it has a lot of seating but I wont complain because I'll be up front and center.

The fact I had to browse through my library to see if I have any of the tracks you mentioned, proves I suffer from something like 'PSB-tiredness' ... Btw, found 2 of the 3 back, but I have no idea what they sound like without playing them, which is another indication. Yes, their sound has become even more refined, but somehow I think it has also lost some of its punch. Sad 'highlight' in that sense is the abomination called "Christmas" with the tackiest PSB song ever (It Doesn't Often Snow At Christmas) and a completely superfluous cover of Coldplay's "Viva La Vida". Fortunately there's enough earlier wonderful stuff to delight our ears! While you're hot chipping away, I'm feasting on that other English institution called Marc Almond.

Oh, I love so many music styles it sometimes even scares mé! ;-) And yes, The Blue Nile is a great band, hyped by reviewers, neglected by most listeners ... As for Pet Shop Boys, their last albums have kind of disappointed me, so they've dropped quite some places on my 'hitparade'. 'Being Boring' might be my fave PSB track :-)

And thanks for the add! Two thanks in one day, that's unusual for me, I'm usually not this nice.
