I wholeheartedly agree with you! I've actually had a serious crush on her since I was a shorty and it's a shame how underrated she still is, but I guess it's our gift that we know and appreciate the talent that she has, because that album is extremely refreshing and revitalizing. What are some of your favorite jams from that one lady?

I'll have to give that Snoh a peep if it's as vibrant as you say it is, because I can use some positivity in a very real way right about now. Here lately I've been back on Jhené's Souled Out album specifically that track W.A.Y.S. I tell you that Jhené is a beautiful spirit of an extremely rare kind and that song really helped keep me motivated and encouraged throughout the home stretch of finals week last week. I'll make some time to listen to that Snoh album this week and I'll make sure to get back to you with my afterthoughts. Have a great week lady! Peace & Blessings.

Great to have you back! You've got quite the exquisite taste yourself and I'm glad you dig the vibes I've been stirring up. I'm game to listen to anything that's real and capable of being felt. I haven't heard of Snoh Aalegra so what's the good with Snoh? I have caught wind of Daniel Caesar though I haven't heard any of his stuff. What I've peeped from Sabrina Claudio thus far has been amazing, but I haven't listened to any of her projects yet. Which would you recommend me checking out first in your honest opinion?

Wow..... glad to see there's still some life left in this site... This is my first time shouting you, but I just went through my following list for the first time in almost 10 years. Hope all is to the good with you and if you ever get this message feel free to hit me back with some recommendations. Peace.

What's up? I had my last.fm 10 year anniversary not long ago, so I'm pretty much feeling like a boss around here now lol

I still haven't jumped into Scandal! I actually started watching How to Get Away with Murder, which doesn't have anyone nearly as attractive as Kerry but I caught it at the beginning so it was a lot easier to get into. You've had a little time to digest Kintsugi now, what's your verdict?

Feels good to talk about music again, that's one of the things I missed about frequenting last.fm.

They're one of those bands that always sound like themselves to me, even with the variation from album to album. I have so much faith in them because I've enjoyed each release, even though of course I have some albums I prefer more than others. I haven't listened to the pre-Transatlanticism stuff as much (love "A Movie Script Ending", though), so those albums are probably at the bottom as far as my favorites go. I always associate them with college, when suddenly I was exposed to all this wonderful new music. Death Cab is one of the lonely few left from that time that have not radically changed their sound (Strokes, Tegan & Sara), disbanded (Rilo Kiley, White Stripes) or lost my interest (way too many to list). There's definitely some disappointment and nervousness about Chris leaving, though. Change is good thing, until suddenly it isn't.

Not much, I'm in law school now so my music listening time is about 343934994394 times less than it used to be. What brought you back to last.fm? Excited for the new DCFC? "Black Sun" is pretty great.

Hey, that's a seriously long time to neglect your profile, I wouldn't even scrobble for you anymore after that kind of abandonment. What's new with you? My musical experiences for this year came to a grinding halt after Jay, Kanye and Vampire Weekend's new albums, so I'm pretty much behind on everything. Feel free to get me up to date!

No, no Scandal yet. There's just been so much to watch/read/listen to/play recently in addition to regular grown-up-life time demands (aka inconveniences) that I still haven't gotten around to it. I promise I haven't forgotten about it (how could I when my future wife looks so gorgeous on every single commercial?) though, and I will eventually watch it and most likely love it. As for Community, it went from being my second favorite show on tv to one I haven't even bothered keeping up with. I haven't gotten past episode two for this season, the first two were just so... off. What's your opinion? I've heard the last two episodes have been better.

Cool. I'm pretty sure I like it, it's hard to imagine not liking anything Ben is involved in. And is it terrible that I'm hoping the next DCFC album will be ultra dark and similar to Plans or Transatlanticism? Don't get me wrong, I thought the overall happier tone of Codes & Keys made for some great songs, but breaking up with Zooey would absolutely devastate any straight dude (I know I would have been on 24/7 suicide watch), and Ben makes some amazing music when he's all morose and angsty. I feel for the guy and am pretty excited about it at the same time.

How does Ben's solo album compare to his stuff with DCFC? I haven't really listened to it, yet.

Thanks! Actually I discovered most of what I now listen to on Last. I specifically wanted to hear more blues and anything similar to my two greatest loves, Sam Cooke and Buddy Holly. I like some of the artists that you like, but I haven't scrobbled many of them in because it would look really incongruous, lol.

Yeah, refreshing is the perfect word for her. Her attitude and the way she carries herself is just so positive and graceful, and it doesn't hurt that she's absolutely gorgeous. I've been trying to make time to watch Scandal for months, I think I'm just going to have to miss some sleep and go for it.
