Congratulations on attaining this ">11.3k artists listened to" milestone :-) ... I saw us both in the "Discovery + Scrobble Leaderboards" sections (Oct. 2-8), you are at #3 and #4 places there: last DOT fm/user/brandonjp/listening-report/week ... How is life on your location of the Earth these days? I guess you and your family also don't go out so much recently in these COVID-19 disease times, same as us here in good ol' Germany ... Stay safe, and continue scrobbling songs unstressed in the meantime, Paco

just saw your top10. so glad you've included ''jerusalem in my heart''. I thoroughly enjoyed their accomplishments. also, I did notice your list has some parallels with the taste of a friend of mine. hope you find her 2013reviews inspiring- http://reviews.headphonecommute.com/ good day Paco... hello! first of all, thanks for the info regarding travel in malaysia. i'm seriously considering going through there in august. hope you continue to dig life in the new country. the boduf songs i was listening to was (were?) his first, self-titled album. which is indeed sweet (a pun on the guy's name? i hope so. i'm big on puns). especially "oh celebrate your vague words." also, i've been meaning to thank you for the barn owl recommendation. good stuff! and, just btw, 김두수 rules!

hey man sorry my internet connection hasn't been so good and i've been working a bit too much for my taste. how are things with you? i believe i'm all caught up on machinefabriek then. "ghost lanes" is probably my favorite of his this year. i've heard elm, but not barn owl, so i'll seek some of that out. where i live in yeonhui-dong is about a 10 minute walk to exit 2 of hongdae station. the lease i'm finishing up ends in december, though, and i think i'm going to move yet again. the commute is getting to me already. so, i'm looking for a place either right at sangsu or gongdeok stations. we should have a beer or coffee and discuss music etc some time.

first of all, congratulations on the engagement! didn't make it to the mats show, mainly because i was moving that night! i liked the place in yeonhui-dong, so i took it. now i just have to get used to the commute.. however, since i took the apt i am now broke for awhile, which is the other reason i couldn't go to the show. just scanning your recent listens...is that a new machinefabriek record? he's one of my favorite contemporary artists. also, how are the new natural snow buildings and jefre lesdesma records?

yeah i've only been to hyehwa a couple of times, both times since i came back to korea last month, and i've been impressed with the area. i not really a fan of theater either but like you i don't mind it especially since it seems to have positively affected the atmosphere of the neighborhood. i'm actually going to look at an apt this evening though in yeonhui-dong, just north of hongdae/sinchon and opposite of yonsei uni. we shall see. so how long have you been living in korea? i spent 2 years here in 2005-6 and into the beginning of 2007 and now i'm back for an open-ended period of time.

good work and thanks for the heads up! shame it's so expensive and all the way in gangnam. regarding housing, i'm not sure where i want to live yet. i lived in hongdae last time i was here but not sure i want to do that again (though i am considering sangsu station area, in part because it would make my commute easy). it'd be great to live in jongno, near jonggak station, but it's a super expensive area. depending on the day or my mood i've also considered hyehwa and gongdeok/mapo...any thoughts or suggestions? i hate itaewon. other than that, i'm open.

hi i just noticed for the first time that i typed "eat timor" last time. that was dumb. yeah i'm here in seoul now and living right next to sookdae uni for the time being. i like the neighborhood ok, but after i save up enough money to put down for key money on a nice place i plan to move elsewhere. but key money is expensive as you probably know. where are you based now? sorry i still don't know details about the otomo etc show, but i'll let you know if i hear anything. in a way i hope it isn't too soon because i'm so busy right now setting up and starting my first classes of the new semester. melt-banana were fucking great last week, though.
