Yeah it's a fun skill. Nowadays I can pick up just about anything except crazy jazz and shredding metal. Glad you're liking HOLV though, next check out Treasure by them. Those two are best by far. And lately I've been on quite the 90s kick

My summer's been pretty nice! And yeah Cuba was good to me. How's your summer so far?

Ah my dear, I'm sorry for the discrepancies... I actually don't listen to Pumpkins much any more. Not that my level of appreciation has decreased (though, my fandom has faded, but I'd like to imagine there is a large difference between the two concepts), but I listen to a wider variety. In fact, if you asked me to pinpoint a "favorite" at the moment, a large variety comes to mind. But enough about egocentric talk. How's your summer been? Discovered anything/learned anything/yearned to experience something? :)

Yeah, I don't even know what mine is anymore. Used to be metal and other things but these days it's more like other things and very specific metal, haha. Cherry Coloured Funk is hands down my favourite track from them. And I took lessons for probably 8 months? I'm not too sure. But I'm mostly self taught, in a few months I'll be coming up to four years of playing

Awesome, it's so good! I've just been learning bits of the guitar as I listen to it (coincidentally I have some new effect pedals which are perfect for Cocteau Twins). Of course Elizabeth's vocals are the highlight. And thanks! Yours is too, with maybe a slant towards 90s alt, but I can get behind that any day

Me too, last week was Jeru the Damaja, GZA, and MF DOOM, haha. 'Twas bombin'. Personally I'd start with Heaven Or Las Vegas, it's easily their best/second best (depends who you ask)

Well I'm always happy to rec some stuff if you want, lemme know. I will admit lately I've been on a dreampop and shoegaze rampage. Today was 100% Cocteau Twins
