Per the question on re-issues: Headboard's The End is Near now has digital distribution (except for the tracks that sample or contain excerpts of cover songs).

Must be the first time I've seen a BOC fan listen to COB. Follow The Reaper is a great album though; the first two are even better, Hatebreeder is just amazing for its virtuosity and Something Wild still probably has the best songs out of their whole career. It's depressing to see the direction they're taking now, but that early stuff is just gold...

Recently I've also come to see the subtler charms of Secret Treaties; I've finally realized Subhuman doesn't need to be live to an awesome piece of warm weather holocaust. Not to mention Cagey Cretins has to have one of Buck's most perfectly executed solos ever, albeit too often overshadowed by the legendary closing trinity.

KJ were going to hit Chicago the 29th and 30th of this month (Empty Bottle, a smallish but good venue). Looks like they've post-poned all their tour dates, but I don't see where this Dec. date is coming from. Not published on any web site associated with the band I know of.

"That guitar sound in the solo.... i want it!" you posted to "Between Something and Nothing" by The Ocean Blue. Well, here is David's guitar rig in 1994. Note he mentions the importance of the Roland DEP-5.

Blue Öyster Cult as your top band - that's cool. Your tastes are all over the place - I dig that.
