Cheers, you too! Wish I could work this place out, though; there are some listed that I'm not as big on as it would suggest-and some (lots!) missing. Who is the lovely little person in the picture with you (I presume)?

Yeah still rocking away and glad to see you are too :) yeah I saw The Horrors play last week. They started out goth punk but now are general 80s-esque dark pop. The played well but it was the first support band that blew me away - Bon Ninghem - Japanese riot grrl punk but with a hard psyche rock edge.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gFlnYaXvLE

Thank you. I think I have crossed your path by listening to the Psychedelic Furs and saw a comment on a song. Happy weekend for you!

Bands like the Stone Roses and the Happy Mondays were a part of the madchester movement. According to wikipedia : "Madchester was a music scene that developed in Manchester, England, towards the end of the 1980s and into the early 1990s. The music that emerged from the scene mixed indie rock, psychedelic rock and dance music." That's pretty cool! I always thought that shoegaze was more for band like the Jesus and Mary Chain, which is one of my favorite band!

hey, come on! For months I'm not XTC's top listener anymore... Though most of those don't have over 7.000 tracks scrobbled anyway, so my addiction's still invincible! lol
