I love it! Probably his best since The Lost Tapes, and my AOTY so far. What's you take on it? And have you heard the new Frank Ocean?

Thanks for the info! Fred x Raf is so dope, I wish I could find more stuff. As for the new El-P, I thought it was decent but disappointing at first, but it's grown on me a lot. Probably album of the year for me thus far. If you're looking for more hip-hop check out this album Queens... Revisited from this newer group, Children of the Night. Based on your charts, somehow I think you'll dig it.

Amazing charts. Your avatar, is that shirt from the Fred Perry x Raf Simons collab?

lol Legal legal loan shark is an appropriate title. You can destroy lives by filling out a form or by the touch of a key j/k. Technically, you'll be playing the role of the goon while the bank is the actual loan shark. Hmmm, but do goons have the actual power to grant loans or must they consult with the shark first? Ok, I went too far... I'm good though. This year has been one long routine, but I can't complain. I need to think about my favorite releases because there are quite a few. I've been meaning to ask if you have heard Vladislav Delay's Mutila? It's along the lines of a minimal techno/ambient record. The "sound design" is impeccable. Check out the tracks [track artist=Vladislav Delay]Raamat[/track] and [track artist=Vladislav Delay]Pietola[/track]. If you enjoy those as well acts like Oval, you'll love the album.

thanks for hittin' me up... isn't discussing music fun? you're putting me in a HORRIBLE spot though... just one favorite album?! in the last ten years of music? painful. although it's probably about a 30-way tie across many genres, I guess I'd have to say "Feels" by Animal Collective. I think of it as the "Pet Sounds" of our time. nevermind those who were introduced to AC w/ "Merriweather Post Pavilion" and don't get the hype... anyone who dislikes "Feels" is not to be trusted. African and Native American tribal influences can be heard, Beach Boys can be heard, Radiohead can be heard.... but for the most part, I listen to that album and I'm like, "who the hell are these guys copying from?" that's just it... it's pretty original stuff... and live versions of "Purple Bottle" excite me like few other experiences in music. hope you approve my friend. peace
