No problem! I had fun but I think I enjoyed his show more the last time I saw him (it was pretty much the same thing). He's an awesome performer but I think he'll need to change it up a bit soon or it'll become too gimmicky!

Yep! Looks like they are only doing weekend passes this year. Who are you most excited to see at Coachella?

I think last year's lineup was better but I still bought tickets - pretty much just for the Banana Shack lineup haha. And I want to see UMO. I'm not really interested in any of the headliners though. How about you, planning on going?

I actually haven't listened to the album yet so I have no idea. But hey, I see you're going to see Rich Aucoin - have you been to one of his shows before? They are so much fun!

I see you're listening to Wye Oak. I'm really into them at the moment. Just got tickets to see them in a tiny venue.

Yeah, I wanted to get through all of the new stuff before I dove into 35 years of Waits...Of course, just as I started, my Winamp crashed and died so I 'had' to relisten to every new track I've acquired since April to get those ratings back. But now I've gone through it all again and a wading through the Tom. Really find all of the 70s stuff boring as hell, and all but two of those albums got deleted. Once you hit Swordfishtrombones, though, wow. Awesomeness. Still have eight Waits albums to go through! Nash the Slash is probably my favourite of the new acquisitions, though.

we listen to almost exactly the same amount of music on our computers. Same bottom end too on our top 50, roughly 230's.

t's too easy to skew a list with that short of a time frame. Listen to one album five times over hal-a-year and the band suddenly shows up in your top 50. Personally, I just find an overall list more representative of my tastes as a whole rather than a six-month skew. Everyone goes through listening phases; an overall list just seems to encapsulate overall tastes better.

For me it's a Friday evening because of the time difference. So when I get home from work tonight I'll download it and listen to it while I get ready to go out.

How do you think I hear of half of those bands in the first place? The podcasts are a weekly ritual for me.

Liking Canadian music is just a slight understatement. I spent a year living over there so that's where the obsession stems from.

So it is true that the venue got changed from Coliseum to forum??? That is wierd, I figured at first it was the other way around, seem to me like there would be more seats (of all types) at the coliseum...

haha, i was thinking the same thing. just been in that mood. Justin is always asleep when i'm up in the morning so post-rock is a good compromise. I'm digging the new Explosions album too, The Birth and Death of Day is my kind of song.

i can imagine. Some of the song climaxes would be amazing. an hour seems like it'd just be a warmup for them.

i'm surprised to see Pelican so high on your list. I wouldn't have guessed you'd like that kind of music
