Hey, I am the new group admin of the Obscure Music Game group, which you were a member in for a while and I wanted to drop you a few lines regarding if you were interested in doing a guest round as guest kicker from time to time or would you prefer to be left alone? Just asking because It's always good to have more than just two or three guest kickers around :). Please let me know. Thank you, Sebastian.

End of last year as he was struggling to commit any time to the game. He had been running the game for quite a while and there is quite a bit of work involved.

Hey, sorry bothering you, but i'm a multi-instrumentalist musician (one man band) and I've been doing a few covers (including a vocal cover of Loose Heart by Riverside) could you please give it a try and tell me what you think? I really wanna improve and for that I need opinions. ^^ thanks a LOT! ^^ - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsTuyQqKj0M

Well, as long as I can focus and get shit done, I should be fine. I just never feel liked doing school work after a day of standard work.

Well, that's good. I have two exams and a paper for next week that I haven't started working on yet. Yay.

I guess I ended up with a major that happens to essentially be an overlap of two of my own normally disparate interests. It also helps that it has clear real-world applications and demand in the job market (which I could live without, but don't mind either). I'll probably have to take at least two classes during the summer so I can get into the University (because of my, well, mediocre high school grade point). It looks like studying is going to cut into my video game playing this week. Truly a shame.

Environmental Science and Psychology, because I have only just really started taking classes, since finally finding a major that holds my interest (Technical Communication, specifically). I've been mostly just working since graduation until this semester. I'm not too worried about my finals, though. Tests are easy. I did, however, get a good grade on my incredibly late research paper (hopefully because it was so awesome). That's reassuring. I'm sure you'll do well with all of that silly exam nonsense.

It's a pretty negligible, if any, increase in audio quality over a well encoded 16/44.1 file, to be honest. As for my vital education, two papers down, one more and two tests to go. I should probably go to class for the review... I should have gotten these worthless classes out of the way a year ago.

I just can't stand trivial information. Memorizing facts is ludicrously boring. I couldn't care less what the names of the various parts of the brain are, but do I have to remember those for a quiz and a test? Most certainly. Because that's apparently what education is: fact memorization. On a brighter note, I got 24-bit playback working properly in my audio player again. Yay.

Study-related sleep deprivation is less of a problem for me because I already have absolutely terrible sleeping habits, but I am still opposed to the supposed necessity cramming pointless information into one's head in principle. Information that, in practice, is usually forgotten shortly after the test. My time would be far better spent listening to/writing/playing music, for instance. Anyway... Friend request sent.

Heh. Procrastination is never a good idea, but it's just SO FUN. Especially when doing something potentially enjoyable, instead of studying for a test. Comprehensive exams are an outdated social construct that serves no functional purpose other than to deprive students of sleep and lower grade point averages. Ugh.

Understandable, with a discography like that. School? I know the feeling. I'm working on three different papers right now, two of which are late. Fortunately, they're on interesting topics.

Probably. And that would be Fear of a Blank Planet, followed by The Sky Moves Sideways but most of their discography is fantastic in my opinion.

It always sucks when schooling gets in the way of the really important things in life, like Steven Wilson concerts. I hope you get to see it some time. It's almost better than the studio recordings.

Yeah, it kind of sucks that he's only really done the east coast for the most part. Chicago was as far west as he went and that was a 6 hour drive for me. It was definitely Best live show I have experience as of yet, and I rather doubt that will change any time soon.

I'm not sure that there is such a thing as an unhealthy obsession with Steven Wilson, especially given how kick-ass his solo tour's live show is.

But I see you have recently listened to Porcupine Tree, which is always an excellent and healthy thing to do.

Just tested it: out of the eight tracks (new tracks for prior artists and five new artists) only two were scrobbled. It could be some file-encoding flag that nerfs it (happens to me when I try Ex.fm and Last.fm free tracks). Breakcore tracks after the playlist are currently being scrobbled without a glitch o_0

There are three tracks/artists (all [tag]MPB[/tag]) that just won't get scrobbled: [artist]Cazuza[/artist], [artist]Zeca Baleiro[/artist] and [artist]Cássia Eller[/artist]. [artist]New Grass Revival[/artist] at first didn't get through, even if it did get scrobbled by my bot-account, but just now did work. Think I'll make a test-playlist with just mpb-artists to check.

Odd, I've been using it the whole day with Grooveshark without a problem but I just played a couple of mpb-artists and the scrobbling just stopped. Restarted the tracks didn't help and scrobbling only started to work again when I played a western artist (Liesa van der Aa). ..vexing...

Yeah it is definitely my favourite PT song. Have you ever seen them live? They played it one time when I saw them...wow.
