You should. I think you and Vrangsinn in particular would get along quite well. :)

There's nothing like logging into FB and seeing you have a message from Maniac or Ivar Bjornsen :)

You should come back :( it's actually becoming a very nice scene, many musicians are integrating their MySpace and Reverb Nation profiles with their Facebook profiles, and some of us (such as Daniel and Anders from Carpathian Forest, George from Rotting Christ, George from Profane Prayer, Richard from Rammstein, etc., including ME!) have private or semi-private profiles to which we retreat for blowing off steam and having a few laughs in our spare time. We do advertise our music on there also, of course, and give links to stuff you can't get any other way - for example Enslaved's Facebook profile has interviews, write-ups by individual band members, etc. about what they're doing in the studio right now. I have Arve Isdal (Ice Dale) on my private list also and we message sometimes. I have Faust on there. Manheim from Mayhem. Daniel. IM-ing with dudes from Throne of Malediction, etc. You should join up! It's a lot of fun, and you can get a heads-up on good tunes also...

You got a Facebook? I could've sworn I saw you on the "People You May Know" thing before it disappeared (I clicked on some hot chick's picture below it - and I didn't know her)...

kurwa, I almost forgot - check out O+S One of the Azure Ray girls (Orenda) and a dude from some electronic/trip-hop style group I think. Some good work - esp. "My Friend", "Permanent Scar", "We Do What We Want To" and "The Fox". The whole album is smashing!

Also if you can find Maria Taylor's EP "Savannah Drive" (with Andy LeMaster), it has acoustic/raw demos of stuff that came out on her last solo album and is very atmospheric, but suicidal. LOL. Maria Taylor is definitely more literal and direct than Orenda Fink, who is the symbolist and does more esoteric/textural works.

Hmmm... that's difficult because they are musically peaceful, but lyrically very dark and challenging on all albums. The most-depressing is their debut "Azure Ray"... but it's also the least-developed. "Hold On Love" is probably my favorite overall. No, wait, "Burn And Shiver". Eh... can't decide between the albums! Avoid "November", only one really good song there (title track), and it's TOO damn depressing ;d "Hold On Love", followed by "Burn & Shiver", and then self-titled. They're working on new material now after breaking up for several years - Orenda Fink's solo stuff is very esoteric, Maria Taylor's more diverse. There was also a band (Art In Manila) for Orenda that is very eclectic. Try 'em all!

Will check out ASAP! Been listening to stripped down stuff lately also to remember the heart of a good black metal album is its composition rather than its presentation :D although good presentation helps, just like with a meal. Sushi is good. A bunch of raw dead fish thrown on a plate is not. LOL :D

Czasem na mieście zapuszczę Ihsahna, With Strength I Burn czy Alabama Thunderpussy, ale to rzadko. Pewnie mi zajawka wróci :)

oo, mój ulubieniec! :D no cóż, może kiedyś nadejdzie taki czas, kiedy ja zacznę kopać w bleku i drołnie, a Ty w funku i lastefemowy gustometr będzie wypadał lepiej niż "FATALNIE" ;P

But I myself am used to minimalism. However, I've never been a fan of raw black metal. It reminds me why I don't much like death metal either. Too fast, too much going on. I'm a fan of simplicity, most of the time. You also seem to like your ambient black metal. What's De Silence et d'Ombre like, by the way?

I know you. ;) The Polish black metal fiend. I see you've been listening to Dommedagssalme, don't worry, I made that mistake too. :(
