Nice! I'm kind of jealous. But I'm getting ready to leave for Europein August or September. I'll also be applying for a residential permit. That reminds me! I'm going to see Devin Townsend for round 3, as well as Gojira. On the same night! I totally forgot aboot that! Religion just needs to stay away from music. "Praise god, he is so holy, suck his dick...." How've you been doing? Are you still on winter break?

I genuinely feel sorry for anyone my age that listens to those bands. And anyone that says they've "grown out of metal" were never truly into metal to begin with. I listen to a shit load of other music too, but i LOVE metal, it's a part of me and who i am, not just some music i listen to.

Minimum wage really does suck. I'm actually finishing up an AA in Behavioral Science and I graduate next semester. Then I'm going to travel through Europe and eventually get a residential permit to live in Sweden, or whatever country I end up picking after traveling. I'm certainly not going to be financially stable on with just my current job, that means I won't be able to live there then. Good thing for me though, I got into something that is going to let me achieve that goal, and will probably be my main source of income even after I eventually finish a Bachelor's and Master's Degree. At first I thought it wasn't real and just a scam, but HOLY FUCKING SHIT, IT'S REAL!! As a College student working minimum wage and you saying you hate working minimum wage I know where you are financially, I'm in the same spot, but I have the power to change it. Wanna know more? The new Wintersun album is only the first part, next part is being released next year. Time part 1 rocks my socks!

Hey bro! It's been a while! How have you been? I think this is my favorite song that you have shared with me, it's so awesome! It reminds me of a mysterious and fascinating combo of Black Sabbath, early Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Blues and a tiny bit of prog atmosphere. I am digging it so much! I've been getting into a lot of European Folk music. Certainly isn't as awesome as Jess and the Ancient Ones, but this is an awesome musical adaption of Poe's "The Raven." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqNx_0qGjpg

It isn't tech deathy at all, just straight up proggy death metal. It over exceeded my expectations!

Have you checked out the new Faceless album? It's fucking incredible! It's so much better than I thought it was going to be. They got rid of all of their Deathcore sound this time and they added a ton of Prog elements!

I'm not the biggest fan of Stoner Metal, but every once in a while I'll give them a listen. I really like their first album!

It is certainly closer to The Way of All Flesh! Just listen to it yourself and see if you enjoy it. I think you will.

V Lol? The new Gojira album is good, but different! It may be their most "calm" album. It still does crush though. They attempt to add some more melody to their technical sound. The first time I listened to the album I only liked a handful of songs, but after listening to it a few times I really do like it. I wouldn't say Gojira may be starting to lose it, but they're starting to change their sound a bit.

Nice! I have Seventh Son somewhere on CD, I might have to buy a new one. I love that album so much. Switerland is gorgeous! It's a bit too warm for my taste though, lol. I'm also wasting time in college because I still don't know for sure what I want to study, so this will be great for me. I can't wait for Oktöberfest!

Oh thats really cool? Did you find it on Vinyl, CD or Cassette? I highly suggest going on a trip like mine. I am so fucking excited! I want time to just speed up. That is a pretty smart plan though. One of the main reasons I'm doing this trip is because I don't know what the fuck I want to do with my life yet. So I'm going to go traveling and think about what I might want to do. Also, I'm looking for a new home.. I can't live in the US for much longer. It's becoming a police state too fast.

fuck you, i went to goodwill today, no good vinyls, no good cds. fuck, the only cd i found that was decent was "Wherever You Will Go" by The Calling. only reason I didn't buy it was because I thought it was their debut. although, i did get a few tapes, none of which you'd call metal.

They were Doom Metal in the 90's, then with Eternity and the rest of the albums they evolved into prog rock. There sound now is a atmospheric prog/post rock sound. It is a very original sound as well.

It's different than PT and Opeth, but still very good. It's kind of like Grace For Drowning in atmosphere, but with Mike. The PirateBay torrent has a strong seed count. You should also check out Arjen Anthony Lucassen's new solo album Lost In The New Real. It's fantastic! If I wasn't already in love with Anathema's new album LITNR would be the album of the year for me. It's funny though, in 2012 Arjen released the second Star One album and it was my favorite album of that year until Anathema released WAHBWAH.

I know how to read a semicolon. The lol after the first sentence was there for a reason. ;) I can see why, it's a bit more experimental and wild. I love Chaosphere though, Elasticity just fucks with my head so good. I need to get high and then listen to that song.
