Great decision. Similar to spoon, their albums all "sound the same" on the surface, but repeat listens reveal different flavors for all. I would start with Trouble Will Find Me - which is how I got into them around 13/14

Kind of, and yes!! I can only find Surfer's Hymn, which I totally dig, and even though I'm not much of a FF I'm pleasantly surprised how much I like the new album! PS- I miss youuuu :(

Hey bud hows it going. Long time no talk. I hope life in the accounting world is treating you well. I myself have been living in china the past 5 months, which has been amazing, but it explains why im catching up on here not facebook (china hates facebook with a passion). But anywas I wanted to ask you if you heard the new free gorillaz album the fall? and if so what are your thoughts on not just it, but the fact that they made it in the matter of months all on tour. Ok I'll be back in the US soon so we should try to hang out if your ever in Boston.

If you're looking for a change of pace, (I think, based on the stuff I briefly saw you listening to lately), check out the album Until One by Swedish House Mafia. But only listen to it if you can listen to the whole thing through, its a mix that needs to be played front to back, in that order. Good stuff. If you can't find it, lemme know, I'll throw it on dropbox or something for you

Your comment was from June 2008 so this question may be long resolved, but just in case... the horn sample in "Excursions" is from "A Chant for Bu" by Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers.

(http://nerdwithswag.com/blu-herfavoritecolour-free-mixtape-download/) But what I was really here to tell you is, the J. Period re-mixtape of Q-tips "greatest hits" is pretty awesome (http://nerdwithswag.com/jperiod-q-tip-the-abstract-best-vol-1-free-mixtape-download/) one more btw: You'd like that website, nerdwithswag.com Let me know what you think (and what you thought about the cat empire)
