I agree with acidzebra... It would be great to see a more developed 'neighbors' page which includes user playlists. This would be a natural fit given one's neighbors would already likely have similar music in order to appreciate these playlists, and if not, there's always the lastfm radio feature.

Jeez...Toby, thanks! Was wondering how that happened! It'd be great if you could replicate Musicmobs here - then Last.fm WOULD be perfect!

Hey Toby! I was a huge fan of music mobs before I discovered last.fm, and have to say that last.fm is lucky to have you on staff. Mobster is still a great product, but I think there was only room for one of the two services on the web. Rock on! -Jason

i'm sure you're a real person and all that, but your random music taste makes me think you might be a bot.

Noooo! MusicMobs is no more! I'd been a member for ages (id=2885)! I only update my info periodically though, so I hadn't yet noticed it was gone. Well, at least I've been on Last.FM for ages too -- one of the last die-hard PayPal subscribers whose automatic PayPal subscription just got axed. Welcome to Last.FM!
