Afternoon Mr. Loafer. Some top selections in your charts here, along with quite a bit of stuff I've not heard before, so I'll no doubt be back to nose around further!

re: Doves. i guess it's a credit to their popularity that you were able to make a profit on the sale, eh? Aye!! They raised the rate on you too!! They need to throw and extra bone too subscribers. I let my sub lapse for like a month... but the constant adverts made me ill. Sooo, I threw them my beans to keep that nonsense.

Yes, tis that Big Band thing in Leeds. It made for a better view than listen, I'd say. They got 4 tracks into half an hour on Monday! I can't say that I'm familiar with the original arrangement of most of the stuff though. I'm not very "up" on the works of Gedge, am learning stuff here and there as my other half does have a devotion to them. Been to see them 3 times now and he is quite charismatic as a front man but then he's often in front of a well converted crowd which helps. It was interesting to see how shy and nervous he was at the Leeds gig without his guitar and usual band to support him, etc.

Thanks for swinging by, interesting TWP review on your blogpage. Unusual to read of someone who lost the love for Gedge but then have some of it reignited. What did you think of the Cinerama era? Also are you listening to Dave with the BBC Big Band on Radio 2 tonight? :)

Haha, what? Are you speaking of the "Indie Top 20" by beachwood music that I use to pay like $35.00 a CD, in the states back in the early 90's? Volume 13 was pretty good! :)
