I was being sarcastic don't worry :p, but him reading lyrics off at shows is pretty funny.

pascal roge does a pretty decent job with debussy...although i wasn't comfortable with the way he played clair de lune or the two arabesque's-which are some of my favorite pieces....when i listened to them the timing just seemed a little off.

nah its parts of a m4, no bolt or pin though basically its a shell although the barrel and front end is mint! My cousin is an armoury engineer for the army, so i get all kinds of broken, unusable, but cool stuff every now and then!

I wasnt anywhere near cool enough to know about all those mid west bands when i was at school, though i considered myself cool for knowing leatherface and jawbreaker however. If your missing anything else, lyrics or whatever from that time, i might of got it too if your looking. sleepytime trio yes!

Ah, interesting. I really like Wittgenstein, and I find your opinion quite interesting. I've not really got into any of the modern fields as I'm more focused on science and technology, mostly Physics.. Have you done or researched anything on the history and Philosophy of Science? I really find that quite amazing, and it follows that I'd find the philosophy of language quite fascinating too. I'm always interested in reading further criticism of Nietzsche and as you say, Continental philosophy, and like you've got a self-confessed pretension, I guess that you could say that Nietzsche is mine for the language he uses. If I can find a copy of that book on Amazon, I'd be happy to read it.. but after I've got through the back-log of books here.. hehe. I agree with you that Nietzsche's historical approach is a lesser to Metaphysics in the regard you outlined. and just illustrate that I don't really have a "favourite" philosopher as such. Hmm.. Are you a member of the faculty at SJSU?

The person in my picture is Adolphe Sax. Nietzsche is for beginners? He's not the only philosopher I've read -- I've read more modern philosophy and that based purely on Kantian philosophy, or based upon the perspective of criticising historical philosophical discourse (like Foucalt, who also expanded to even Historians and historical interpretation). I like Nietzsche for the fact that he is an unabashed philologist, and that through various literal and metaphorical devices he provides very sound, rational discussion and criticism of Christianity from a fascinating perspective. Just for the purpose of understanding your perspective on this philosophical position -- what form of relative scale or criterion do you use to judge a philosopher? It just seems incredibly strange to hear philosophers compared as though they are bands, and I'm intrigued to delve further into your perspective and opinion.

Wu-Tang were light-years ahead of the pack. If you have not already heard it, listen to the song "B.I.B.L.E" off Gza's album Liquid Swords, it's amazing.

We sounded pretty bad a lot of the times. I was never really happy with it. Which is why I wanted to give up. But I think of the times when we sounded on point. It was amazing. When we were on it. We owned the night. We need to practice for a year before we set up a show up there. We need to be on point. Get everything perfect and don't settle . Got it?
