Hey, I just noticed you wrote me like half a year ago, but your profile settings don't allow me to contact you directly. I totally remember us roleplaying, it was really cool. We used to communicate on email too, until you decided to leave the internet altogether. My memory's a little fuzzy too, but I've looked for you a few times in these past years too. Can't believe you found me yourself. :D I'd totally write more though I feel like last.fm shoutbox isn't the best place to do that. Could you perhaps send your email into my last.fm inbox or something? We could catch up from there. :)

i really like their psycho rockish stuff too.it was before 2010? i havent seen it then :D i think most of the people will hate it for some time and then realize there is no better alternative and just come back.

ye,lots of people hate this new site but i think it will get better over time. well tiamat is a band that i only and only listen to when im down or highly depressed :D, i wasnt in the good mood for like 1-2 months and that album was the one that i felt closer to its lyrics and atmosphere, imo its not even their top 3,but i just felt really close to it. and yes wildhoney is a universal masterpiece :D

inb4 like system :D, i dont really know how to feel about new layout, its seems kinda over-chaotic but i think we'll get used to it. i still think we need a better artist suggestion system tho. also lots of stuff got deleted, they need to return them too.

sorry for late answer,i was busy with an exam :D. no i just finished the fifth book like a month ago and started watching the series. series are more engaging imo , at least they dont make you stare at foods for 3 hours straight like books do.:D

yes, thats the one.its books are like fictional history books tho.:D books and tv series are kinda different tho.you can watch and read both at the same time,or watch and then read,or read and then watch :D

children's short stories are cool :D. any kind of short story in general, also some classics like the man in iron mask and some fantasy books,i highly recommend malazan and a song of ice and fire series, they are lulzy as it gets :D

yes, these 2 are most famous ones, these two aside i've read down and out in paris and london, homage to catalonia, burmese days, coming up for air and trying to read a clergyman's daughter atm,its kind of boring tho :d. i think down and out in paris and burmese days as good as they are entertaining. homage to catalonia is more like a history through the eyes of a soldier.tho i really lost interest in serious books over years but still i think those 4 are still must reads for anyone :D

nice,oh yes i was left speechless after reading it,actually that book got me into george orwell, great author. but yes he tends to simulate an actual real situation in his writings and sometimes it gets a bit over repetitive. i highly recommend animal farm too,it follows the same concept too,but its also a bit funny :D.it had a bigger touch on me compared to 1984 actually.

indeed,if they are as lulzy as other northern europe tales they are really fun to read :D. thx again.

its a great book.its mostly based on ideas from like 30-40 years ago but still very much enjoyable. thx ,you have lots of interesting things about that in your library tho.:D. no it was finished at 1988 around 6 years before my time. but it was devastating, around a million men died and it had effects on people after even 20 years.food used to be scarce and stuff, its ok now tho :D.

so you are a writer too :D. cool. kinda reminds me of "1984". could be nice,i actually really like the concept. and also coming from a country who was in war not so long ago and being in love with different battles of history (not that i like war, just studying their effect on society and history and stuff :D) im totally up for any kind of war talk :D. tho imo peoples opinion on war highly depends on their culture and past and present pressures from inside and out. yay imma find it asap then, im so attracted to european paganism i desperately search for any music-movie-documentary related to it. (fictional ones and books are good too) so being polytheistic is a good thing.hail odin :D.

yes yes, russian people are cool, especially in dota 2 :D not like they are going to get them back tho,and i think they cant really hold them.its just typical political tactics imo .wreaking havoc against historic and organic beings actually. there are some seriously aggressive muslims in iran but those isis guys are something else, like not understandable actions. cant really say im a muslim but thats not even islam.and yes indeed, thats what i meant, but dont think humanity will get that wise any time soon.lust brings blood and its in our nature :D. on a second note Falkenbach is good?,last.fm is shoving it into me for like 6 months, might try it :D

dont think ruskis are drunk enough to wage a full scale war against a european union country. you guys got great folklore, one of the reasons i dont support war in europe :D. well i think if isis was half as strong as russia i would be dead by now and a goat was raping my corpse :D. guys are destroying pre islam historic structures and mosques."we are muslims, now lets burn some mosques, yay" :D i think its sometimes needed to purge some problems, like our little situation here.

lots of love towards russia i see :D. at least all we are dealing with is isis here, ruskis could be fun too. tho i dont really support war atm, especially in europe.

testometer is stupid :) But we have some bands incommon :) I bookmarked things like Hagalaz' Runedance, Aistė Smilgevičiūtė ir Skylė and Thundertale ages ago but forgot about those :) Also I've seen Opeth here and I can't find the proper time to go back to it. I listened to Opeth like crazy when I was in High School :) But lately I've been keen on mellow and light music . Will go back to something heavier soon though ;)

Hey, sorry for the long delay to answer your message. One bad thing about philosophical works is that they are not very organised as music. It's difficult to find a point where you can start the reading. It also takes so much more time to get through and understand them. I have to divide my time for playing games, listening to music and related stuff, so it turns out that I have no time for everything at all. '-' Certainly, the possibility of exchanging messages to so faraway places in a question of seconds is making us have so much more information than we can actually absorb. Wonder how this would have affected the world about one hundred years ago. So, I'll try to read some more of Plato, and then I'll check Aristotle's works. Thanks. xD

People with the portuguese accent of the region I live in also pronounce "tzsch" with just a single letter, haha. I think Zarathustra is such a confusing book. The fact that Nietzsche did not finish it does not help with the understanding of it. o.O I have not read any stuff from Aristotle or Aquinas. Is there any book of them you recommend me to pick at first? Anyway, need to get back to my Plato readings. xD

Nietzsche! The world changes when you learn how to type his name without searching for it on google. xD I've read The Antichrist and Thus Spoke Zarathustra from him. What about you? Yeah, reading philophy helps you understand how people used to think some centuries ago, and how did things end up here. I wish I had developed interest in philosophy when I was younger. About Plato, I was reading his first works, Euthyphro and Apology. Still need to read The Republic. I find interesting the way Socrates defends himself from the court in "Apology".

Thanks for the link for this site. Didn't know about it. It's great for sure. ^^ So you like reading about philosophy a lot, don't you? xD I was reading some of Plato's works in the beginning of the year, but have stopped it. Need to continue.

I guess they have not so many texts because they need to study a lot to prepare them, as everything looks well written - and yeah, the texts do help you improving your english knowledge. :D Hope they keep on with this nice work. I'll try to read this text you've mentioned - it seems to be very interesting too. Just need to find some time (and focus o.O) to do it. So, if I find some other site like this one, I'll send you its links. ^^

Ok, here I am taking a long time to answer your message again. Sorry. =S I've understood very few things from this text. I'm reading it again, and things are getting a little clearer now. It's nice to know that someone was so interested in the band that this person has made a study throughout their lyrics and stuff. =) It's showing many aspects of LoT's music that I have not noticed before. I've read about some nordic mythology because of this test. This site really seems to be a nice place to explore. Need to check the other texts as well.

Sorry for taking to long to reply. I'm having some crazy weeks here. I guess Upon the Highest Mountain is my favorite from GA too. That's true, covers turn into appetizers as the artist start creating its own stuff. But I understand them. If you have the opportuniy of playing your own material, you usually do not waste this chance. xD Anyway, there are many artists that still like playing lots of covers. Lake of Tears have posted this recently on their fb page. Very nice: http://www.waterytimes.com/index.php?no=8&location=N008C03&txt=N008C03T00

Hey, don't worry about taking too long to reply. I'm having this problem as well. o.O Indeed "Greater Art" seems to be a more imature album, as it's not so heterogeneous and structured like their other works, but I find many of its songs very harsh and powerful, like Under the Crescent and Upon the Highest Mountain. Regarding their album covers, I guess this band has always done very well. ^^ This idea of reinventing a song by playing it in another style of music really applies to me. It reminds of a day, when I went to a japanese culture event in my town. There was a jazz band, which was playing some famous anime songs, but in jazz versions. They've played the opening title for Saint Seiya in such way, and I loved it. xD People should try to do these kind of things more, because they can create beutiful pieces of music.

I'm fine too. Having to do quite a lot of things at the same time, but I'm doing okay. I've heard many people saying "Greater Art" is not a good album, and I just cannot believe this, because it's one of their best albums. Actually, I'm very distant to power metal as well, but I still love to listen to these power metal covers of Video Game songs. They seem to fit very well with this kind of music. The video you've sent me is very good too. And of course, the 8-bit original version is awesome. It's a kind of song that makes you wanna play the game just to hear the music again and again. ^^

Hello, Tomas, how have you been? Hope you're doing fine. I've made it through Lake of Tears' discography. A Crimson Cosmos remains my favorite algum, but anyway, their other stuff really surprised me. From the very first album, they are simply awesome. =) Have you listened to this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R98rj-T48Mc
