How's it going PoD? No worries, I knew you were probably busy. Last.fm isn't what it used to be so I've been checking it less and less. How is school going? I've been working, but I'm looking to get a new more challenging job. I've been studying a lot online. Been doing web development and a bit of programming it's fun. I'm hoping to practice some more and get good at it to be able to work in that field one day. I've been listening to Tame Impala too they are so good. I've been listening to the new Autolux, Andrew Bird, Parque Courts, Wolfmother released a new album too! Wow PJ and the Kills? This is a good year for releases. Hey did you hear that Spotify has a family account now for $15 a month with 6 accounts? A few friends of mine are all pitching together and sharing the accounts.

Good question, of Sufjan favorites, a tough one: I might be tempted to go with #1 Age of Adz, although it's a little far-reaching w/ the long-song/synth-heavy-format. The subject matter & over-all-concept interested me like love @first sight. # 2 might be the sweet & spare Carrie & Lowell - even though I only listened to it once. The Come On Feel The Illinoise is always fun. Have you heard this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RtR5zSN9CY I think I like this one, for now . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsZTQjsqiXI :D

I knew the change was coming to last.fm, but not this fast. I miss the old format too, I don't like that I can't customize my page. I've been doing fine, working and stuff. Wow you have been a busy girl checking out so many new bands. Definitely going to check out some of those that you mentioned. The last Shellac is awesome, just discovered The Growlers, United by Fate, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and others which I can't remember. Subscribe to Spotify when it was 10 bucks and found a bunch of new music, but I forgot to write down the bands that I found on there. How's school going? What classes are you taking? I would love to hear all about it. I'm still MIA in Facebook, going on over a year now. But I would love to add you to LinkedIn. Take care

Fantastic, where do I start with Sharon Van Etten? I want to check her out. I'm not sure, I've been falling in love with Vashti Bunyan's two albums recently. Peaceful, melodic and sometimes painful.

PoD, I can't believe that CC broke up! I never got to seem them live either. This is really not a good month for band cohesion. Death Grips and now CC? Death Grips has 3 albums, but technically I think they release part of their 4th album pending the release of the second half. I've been working a lot lately so I haven't had time for much else. I do want to get a new iPod Classic since they stop making them. I don't know about you but I loved my iPod till I dropped it and it stopped working. During regular working hours they don't allow us to listen to our personal music, but extra hours we can listen all we want which make things easier. Music wise I've just been listening to what I already have and making playlists. What about you? Did you finally catch some good shows? Got any Thanksgiving plans yet? Take your time writing back too, I was worried that last time since I tough you might have lost your account like with your first. haha Take care,

I agree with you, I also would sit down and try to solve the problem if I don't understand some music. But I never get into to the music of techno-culture. For me, it has something very strange. For the first time I had problems to understand music was 1970 with "Ain't It Funky Now" by James Brown. I was 16 then. That was a piece without harmonies. I thought that was incredible. Although I had already listened to music that was not based on harmony, progressive rock with long improvisation points where there was no longer a chord scheme and no more cadences, but that was still recognizable as individual articulation. "Ain't It Funky Now " was just funky. And that was in the charts. vor einer Minute

Hey PoD, no worries. Spotify is pretty good for finding new things. You missed Karen O? Haha, how well. I did check out Interpol new one and I do like it. I didn't know Karen O released a solo album, how is it? I just found out a couple days ago that DFA1979 finally released a new album. I'm in shock, but I'm hesitant in checking it out. Mostly because of all the hype that's been building up to get a new one. I fear that my expectations are set way to high so I haven't listen to it as of yet. I've checking out some of Death Grips back catalog, Tobacco, Foxygen, and I've been really in a mood for Nirvana lately. How's your luck with shows since you missed King Tuff? Hopefully you've found time and were able to remember to go to those shows.

Afraid so, I read it on Pitchfork think about a month ago. Well at least we have a handful of albums to enjoy. I've been meaning to listen to Sharon Van Etten. I could have sworn I had her album in my Amazon wishlist so that way I could remember to check her album out, but for some reason when Amazon stops carrying someones album even for a bit they take it out of your wishlist and then I forget. So I'm using Discogs now to keep track of what I want to listen to. Spoon really? Oh man I would have love to been there, I miss Amoeba. A while back Queens of the Stone Age was going to come to Mexico City for some 3 day festival. I don't remember what happened but it was canceled. Hey PoD do you know any good music blogs? Aside from Pitchfork and Paste I can't think of any others. Anyways hope you have a good weekend.

In fact,I like every song in Exile In Guyville. If picking 5 songs from it,I would choose:1)6‘1’‘ 2)Help Me Mary 3)Glory 4)Never Said 5)Fuck and Run.And I find a plenty of people like Flowers, but I have to say I don’t fancy it at all.And some days ago,do you know,Tori Amos covers PJ Harvey‘s We Float. It stunned me and it was quiet weird.
