Do you have some LPs by The Black Keys you could recommend? I have Thickfreakness and I like their heavy sound! But my favorites are The Angels and The Warlocks recently. Do you know "Joiletjake"? He is also from Sweden and one of my friends here. He doesn't listen to the stuff like we do, he is more into Led Zeppelin. But my favs are The Black Angels and The Warlocks currently.

It's one of the best lineup I've ever seen. One of my favorite band, Sleep, which I never saw live, is going to play and I don't know if I will ever get the chance to see them again! My adolescence is calling! I'll do everything I can to be there.Good luck! to both of us! maybe we'll catch up there! :) p.s.: listen to SometimeWorld, Assemble Head and Sleepy Sun are totally awesome! I saw Sleepy Sun 3 times and I've always been amazed by their show.

Yeah I thought you might enjoy Assemble Head. I have no idea what 'Manifest Destiny' is though, it might be some kind of Tee Pee Records sampler or something. They have two albums so far; the debut 'Ekranoplan' i'd say rocks the "hardest". While their latest release 'When Sweet Sleep Returned' is a little more adventurous. I can't really pick a favourite, but it seems majority of fans are really enjoying this new one. None the less, both come highly recommended! Sleepy Sun vocalists (Rachel & Bret) guest on a track or two. The two bands tour quite a lot together, would love to see that!

Hey! Gotta say I'm really really enjoying it. Went back to the shops to pick it up and i have not looked back! Favourite tracks after 10 listens or so are: 'Donovan Said', 'No Come Down', 'Miss June '75', 'Anenome', 'Cause, I Lover', 'Here It Comes'. But the whole thing flows beautifully so it's just an awesome album ey. 'Bad Baby' feels like it drags a little, but that's only a minor quibble. Thanks again for recommending it, gonna slowly work my way through their discog sooner or later.

No worries. Congratulation on your graduation!! ;) haha, yes he was nice and looked like a mountaineer. Your graphics really do look professional and if i ever need one i'll assign you ;) I really have to update my flickr but my photoshop went kaput so i have to wait with editing. btw, I recently found out you're on flickr too when i clicked on the picture with the little boy, what a magic trick, haha. add me as a contact there :) I don't know if i'm gonna see them. it's a kind of festival with AC/DC and some '?' bands.. so maybe i'll get there trying to catch a last minute ticket. You've already seen them live arr. but the worst thing is that the Black Keys tickets don't arrive. now im trying to get tickets for a festival in france where they're part of the party as well. hopefully it will work out.

So i seen 'Their Satanic Majesties' Second Request' in a store yesterday and reluctantly decided against picking it up. Went home and gave a downloaded version a listen and really enjoyed it. Going back to pick that sucker up this weekend, a fine addition!

Oh my good god. yea, amazing line-up!! just checked out Black Mountain and I really like their music! thanx for mention them ;) Them Crooked Vultures would probably make it up for me, also because I love QOTSA. Haha great stories, I've never met famous musicians like you :/ only some football players such as your swedish boy Olof Mellberg :P Thanx, i'm glad you like them :) Got my Nikon dslr about one year ago, the garden shots were the first. Gotta upload some new pictures soon. Wow, your graphic designs are so great! Is it your job? and your concert shots are stunning as well. I love the Alex Turner lightning!!

Big fan of the new Sleepy Sun, love the new acoustic tracks. The jams aren't entirely different from Embrace but i don't mind, they demolish my brain just the way I like it! It's about as great as I was expecting, although I'd love to see them explore this sound more often: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRDYKe7igrA Amazing version isn't it? Probably put it up there with my favourites of the year so far with "Brothers" (Unknown Brother & These Days are beautiful) and a few others. Expecting Fleet Foxes to come by and clean up this year though! It's really strange that I have never really got around to giving BJM a chance yet.. where would you recommend starting?

The twilight fellas obviously got a nice taste! B.R.M.C last year,The Black Keys, The Dead Weather this year. don't get why e.g. The Black Keys chose this way to get even more popular, as they never really aimed to be played on radio stations before.. :/ anyway. No big festivals this year I guess. Rock am Ring would've been great, but you have to be quite fast to get tickets. I failed :/ oh, but as I see there are some fantastic festivals in your list! and wow, great guys you've met!! ;) did you meet them like backstage after the concerts?
