Devon Williams is just playing his solo songs. He has two full-lengths. I actually missed it, unfortunately. Groezrock always looks so cool! It's always such a weird mixed lineup but with some incredible bands. I would love to see Lagwagon.. I hope they play Pouzza or something this year! That would rule so much. I saw Belvedere reunited too. I hope to see them in Toronto.

Hi! So you've returned to England? When did you leave? Those are my first and second favourite Bouncing Souls records! That rules. I wanted to see that so bad when they played it in the East Coast. There haven't been many good shows here, but I did go to the Fest! Which was a blast! Probably my favourite so far. I also saw Dead to Me, the Copyrights and Strike Anywhere last month. Not much coming up. Except Devon Williams is coming to play. It will probably be weird seeing him but I just want to see him for the sake of seeing him. Off With Their Heads are playing too. Aside from that, there's nothing. Any good shows you'll be seeing?

Lemuria were pretty amazing, I thought! Cheap Girls were good too, but I guess you've seen it by now! They played most of the songs I wanted, so happy

Pouzza fest was fun! Thanks for asking! Montreal is such a nice city. The highlights of the weekend were seeing RVIVR, Dear Landlord, Bad Astronaut, Brendan Kelly twice, Lifetime, ahh so good. Walking thirty minutes to the bar that Dear Landlord and RVIVR were playing a 'secret' show, only to find out it had just sold out! ahaha oh well! Are you still thinking about going to that Detox fest? Stoked for Descendents in a few weeks?!!

I am a fan of Mixtapes! They will be playing here in St Catharines in May as well, with Lemuria. It rules that all of these bands will be coming through Ontario on their way to that Pouzza Fest in Montreal - which I'm actually considering going to. According to punknews, Dear Landlord will be playing in Toronto on May 25th. But it is to be confirmed. I'd be surprised if it didn't happen.

Sweet, I wonder what made the move... Maybe getting back into the Souls on my part? Getting back into the Souls happened because of the DVD, it is by far the best musical/band DVD that I have ever seen.

Aw, that's unfortunate but good thing you made it to one of the shows! I think I'm going to that Suicide Machines show. Even though I don't listen to them much anymore, I think it would be great to fulfill my own 16 year olds' dream of seeing them haha. It should be fun. Hopefully there aren't too many obnoxious ska fans!

Mockingbird are getting better and better every time I see them. They were so good on Thursday too. The Menzingers were a lot of fun too. I'm glad I was able to see them again. I couldn't stand watching Fake Problems either. I stuck around for one and a half songs and left. So boring! Were you able to go to both Toronto shows?

Haha I feel slightly out of the punk rock loop for not having heard of that! Strange that no reasons were given! I have heard the new Mockingbird 7"! I like both songs a lot. To be honest, when I first heard new songs live, I found them slightly boring compared to their other songs. But I love these recordings! Regardless, they're always great live.

I hadn't heard about Against Me! canceling their dates but that does explain it all. I'd be surprised to see them break up now. I hope it doesn't happen. I'd like to say that I will go to at least one of the Toronto dates. It would be nice to see the Menzingers twice, in two cities. But I'll probably only be able to go to the one date in Hamilton.

I haven't listened to Fake Problems since back then either. I didn't care much for their last record and I haven't even bothered listening to their new one. Although I did see them here back in '08 and I thought they were good! They played to about 10 people and it was fun. I have seen videos since though, and found it quite boring. I'm most excited to see the Menzingers too! Haha that rules! Sounds like a great Halloween to me! Fucked Up are always entertaining to say the least... It's strange, I didn't hear much about 'Fucked Up weekend' this year. It was only the one show?

Yeah, Frank Turner is pretty huge. I even heard one of his songs played on the radio at the bus terminal in my city. It was quite a surprise. It's good to see that he's well received. He deserves it. I wish I could have been there. Although I don't know his new record very well either, aside from a select few songs. Did he play mostly newer songs? The new None More Black is definitely more 'rock'. I have heard a few people criticize it for that. I'm a bit partial to them haha.

I went to see the documentary and John K. perform but didn't make it to the Frank Turner show. Which is pretty disappointing, but even more so since I just saw that he played a Propagandhi cover. I was about to ask you the same, did you go to either one? I immediately liked the new None More Black record. It's great. I love what they're doing. How do you like it?

Glad it was good! I'd figure that Bad Religion would have played a good mix, playing all the classics. That's all I ask. Anything off of No Control or Against the Grain and a mix of other songs, and I'd be happy. I hope I'll get a chance to see them someday. The show was at the Kool Haus, correct? I'm not a huge fan at all. Although I've only ever seen the Gaslight Anthem there. The Arteries are great! I immediately liked them as soon as I heard them. I wish I was able to see them at the Fest.

I've always heard great things about Frank Turner's live performances. I've heard that he's huge in the UK (understandably so) and that he plays stadiums. I've also seen videos of live sets, mostly covers though. He does a cover of Propagandhi's song 'The State-Lottery'! Pretty cool. I've managed to see the Weakerthans a few times, but have never seen just John K solo. I think the documentary should be interesting. I think I'll definitely be going. Unfortunately I think I'll be missing the show tonight. You'll have to tell me about it!

Ah ha! Good choice! If I had more of a stable income, I'd go for sure. It's good to hear your job is going well. I'm hoping to see Frank Turner too. I've yet to see him, even with the amount of times he plays this area. I'm glad he's playing in Toronto on his off date from the Social Distortion tour. You're thinking about going to that Weakerthans film screening?

It certainly is bothersome that the tickets come with more than 10 dollar fees or something ridiculous. That is what is holding me back from going. I've only ever see the Bouncing Souls out of them all, so it seems more worth it to me, I guess. It's just spending the funds all at once that makes it difficult. I'll see! How are you liking your new job?!
