Hi Rick! It should be up on the digital channels within a few weeks, I am just getting that taken care of. There will definitely be some U.S. action, but the only artists I know that do national tours are big names! And unless I suddenly strike it big....anyway I am hoping to do some touring in the Northeast. One can always hope!

Hey, thanks for the message. I haven't heard them yet, but Punchbuggy's All Night Christian Rollerskate and Grand Opening...Going Out of Business Sale both feature Jim. I've just placed an order for their debut. If you happen to find "Grand Opening" let me know.

I'm glad you liked Greetings. It is a different side of Tim indeed. I once read this period of his work described as "sex funk", it is rather fitting. I'll give Jeff another shot, then. So far I haven't been very much in tune with the kinds of emotions he conveyed, I guess, but that might change as I grow older and wiser :)

I'm listening to your loved tracks right now. Funny, I was pissed at Jeff Buckley the first time I heard his cover of "Hallelujah". I still don't get the appeal of most of his music (not that I know much about it, mind you), but I must admit, hearing "Hallelujah" again right now, that as different as it is from Cohen's version, it is pretty touching.

I'd definitely recommend "Greetings From LA". "Sweet Surrender" is one of my favorite songs. And "Honeyman" is the live album that he recorded around the same time, it's worth a listen too. Much less folksy than "Dream Letter", I guess it fits a different kind of mood, but that's when his voice really became powerful.

Thanks! Yes, Folklore is good. Tim Buckley was obviously worth seeing live, but I have to admit I have a weakness for his later, funkier stuff. Have you tried it?

I think you need more Built to Spill in your library. I'm just saying. If Wilco's THE best American band, then Built to Spill is second.

Glad to hear that Rick! That's the one and only Lloyd Maines playing the dobro.

Thanks alot. Some people say it takes getting used to (the voice), others seem to like it. Glad you do!

So which of hers is your favorite album? I loved Asking for Flowers, but I really love all of them.

I wouldn't mind passing through my old stomping ground in central Illinois, but I'm looking at her tour schedule in March and wondering if she might just pass this way...

I'm seriously thinking about catching Kathleen Edwards in LaSalle, even though I live in Kansas City. I got her autograph when she passed through here last year. Great gal.
