Haha dem locals be probably using something else. We got an app / website in AUS called urbanspoon that allows you to check out reviews on restaurants in your city. I learnt Honkies got the equivalent called Open Rice ('hoi fahn' = cantonese for let's eat.. literal translation is open rice though haha). Clever Honkies. Maybe they got a version of Shazam called.. I dunno, Shazam-la~ or Shazam-lor~~. Haha, actually can you speak or understand canto?

Haha so funny to see you take pride in shazam-ing tracks outside. I do it as well if there's a funky tune playing, who wouldn't! :D Funnily enough I don't think local honkies know about shazam or anything like it. I've talked about it to relatives and local friends in HK and they had not heard of such a thing.. and that was only a couple of years ago. Was about to pull it out for Cyril Hahn's mixes but he lists them on his soundcloud page.. so handy. His choices of tracks are fkn mint. Can't stop listening to his French Kiss mix. I nearly fell off my seat at work when I heard the MAYBACH MUSIC adlib and then the Cassie x Ricky Rozay track - unexpected and awesome start to the mix. Another mint track he uses is Closed Paradise - The Daulphin. I could have this on repeat the whole day.

Haha cheers, I can see you voiced your appreciation on the track page. Are they new and upcoming? But anyway another track to add to the CAD music playlist. Just recently started listening to Aston Shuffle's new album Photographs - I think you'd dig it. Their songs get played every single day on a radio station that also airs a lot of what you're into, like FKA Twigs and Banks.

LOL at the clockenflap comment. Wonder what the take on the event is from a typical Honky POV because it looks like a festival to appeal to families as well. Lots of HK talent, I'd want to go on a whim and check them out with virgin ears. Any of those HK bands you can recommend? I've heard chvrches and eyedress on rotation here in Melb. Eyedress would be awesome to see live.

I wish I could stop by but it doesn't look like I'll be able to get time off then! Wish I could see duh Crockenfrap event, I was only made aware of it this year after reading about it on Localiiz, a website on HK-related sheezy. It looks fkn amazing though. Work's been busy on your end? Will you be able to get time off for Clockenflap? What is the origin of this name anyway?

Yeh sounds good, because I had her Cyril Hahn remix on repeat today. His paris mix is also really nice and chilled. Need more mixes like this for background music at work! That Higher Ground track is also on repeat. I'm feeling the summer-y tunes but it's not summer here unfortunately. Looks like it's stinking humid and hot over there though. Fuuuhhhk I miss HK.

You're right haha, great music to CAD to. Liking Cyril Hahn's tracks right now, really digging the Jessie Ware remix even though I don't know or have listened to any of her shit. All your house-y tracks got me back into my old library. Remember this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6SvXr9r3OQ

Thanks for the killer links! I chuck them and your past recommendations on when I'm working. Aporogies for my inactivity as of rate, been a hectic deal trying to juggle full time work and side drafting jobs. I like the new DP change again, what or who are you channelling this time? I changed mine and I'm channelling doge.

Highly dig the Changing Planes track. Reminds me of clubbing / ministry of sound days. That track is going straight to my work and gyming playlist. Have you got anymore recommendations like that and Slow by Cyril Hahn? I got something completely different for you, not sure if you're into hip hop but here's a classic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qyT4Hxl4ck

F*ck, that Cyril Hahn track is perfect! The Klangkarussell track wasn't bad but simply got eclipsed by Slow. Great recommendation - just had one of those rare moments where I was pretty blown away after the first listen. Honestly don't think I can top that, but try this one: Monophonic - Invisible Touch. I heard it from this video, which I also dig because of how beautifully presented it is (and the great use of After Effects) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLE-Ectx01g&list=UU7__HE3ZzyO976LhSQjngEQ

Kidnap Kid song wasn't bad, but really digging Wayward - Belize! Songs like these are perfect for the late night drives - I've already added it to the playlist in my car :) I've been getting into synth-y trap music lately, are you a fan? Local talent - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnQ1_vW1n6o

Thanks for the recommendation! I listened to Daley's "Days & Nights" - made an awesome first impression with "Time Travel" which you also linked, but I found every second song wasn't to my taste.. those songs sounded like a teenage boy pop star. Any other recommendations? I'm getting pretty bored with my music.

Couldn't commit to SOHN in the end. Saw someone selling tickets on another site because they forgot they had other preplanned commitments, which reminded me of my own plans arranged prior haha! My mate was ready to give it a punt seeing him without listening to him beforehand.. but alas such was not the case for the both of us! Prob not gonna have another opportunity like this for a while or ever again.

It was you? I will be sure to join the group when in HK and give you your well deserved present.. of a meal at 大家樂! Haha just kidding, but there's nothing I miss more than Cafe De Coral. Hey check this artist out if you haven't - I find I can put these chill disco tunes in the background anywhere. https://soundcloud.com/satinjackets/satin-jackets-mixing-dec-2013

Yep, in the same field as you. Trying to suss out the HK playing field. Would love to experience working there.. but it would undoubtedly be so much more intense than here. I know what you mean about rendering in 3DS Max though, but I feel like if you mastered it, you would be a master in life XD

Haha all good, it was natural to think like that. Aaah so good, again respect to you for knowing Revit. It's a hot program in melburn right now. Is it the same in HK or is there another program that's more sought out? When I was over there last year, my friend said knowing sketchup was a major advantage.
