I'm sure you've been asked this before, but where did you rip 7 Skies H3 from? I wanna download a good copy, and I know the one on what.cd is straight from the actual MP3 on the skull, but if yours is from a similar source, I'd rather not waste my ratio. If I'm gonna sink 24 hours of my life into a song though, it'd be good to at least know it's a 100% accurate rip of it. Either way, awesome that you uploaded, thanks!

So hey I was surfing the web and I saw an article on Pitchfork about the new flaming lips album......and I recognized something! At the top of the page there was a link to a live recording of "The Terror" in Texas, and -you- were the one who uploaded it to soundcloud! You must be like, a super fan or something, lol. Anyways, listening now - - and thank you for uploading!

You know, I haven't heard it in a long while but I recall All Is Dream being like a sister album to DS. SM was cloying and forgettable, and the last one's free internet companion album was better than the real thing. Still, those first 3 are some of the best albums of the 90s to my ears. and Tripping Daisy! I was so into them (and by extension Polyphonic Spree) a while back - the Lips got me into all sorts of ecstatic psychedelic music via random connections back in the day. I'm not so much into that sort of sound anymore but I'm always happy to hear a song or three from them.

oh wow, thank you! Great song. Also you totally made me listen to the album again. I don't throw around the word 'underrated' often but in this case it's truly applicable. Old school fans laud Yrself and Boces and latter fans like Deserters on forward, and nobody else even knows it exists. To me it's the perfect essence of why I love the Rev. I'd KILL to have it on vinyl but its lack of popularity makes me resigned to its cd-only (and barely!) fate :/

That's what brought it to mind! Brazil is easily a top 5 favorite film ever for me. Possibly very favorite. And yeah, I love their sampling in that track. I remember reading that it was from the Brazil score on the old flaminglips.com (loved that site! helped me get wayyyyyy into them back in the day with all the bio and history info) description of the album, and my brain exploding with the recognition. This is kinda making me want to listen to Hit to Death...

It's happened to me, but not often since Lips don't make the best 'relaxation' tunes! Ever seen the film Brazil?

Nice, I'd like that. Gonna have to listen to the rest some other time since I barely ever have that much free for musics in one sitting. Funny enough that made me think of Of Montreal, who ended their show on a drone metal loop while they crowd surfed hehe
