i know what you mean, i still haven't seen the strokes! seen albert hammond jr a couple of times and now julian. i think 2010 is the year i finally see them (although i can see it being tres difficile getting tickets at face value I HATE TOUTS!). anyway, yeah he played 'i'll try anything once' <3 which i have to say i prefered to the strokes album version. i didn't get a t-shirt in the end, more money for beer and rum :)

was great in london also :) julian sounded really good and the band were tight. his in-between song banter was hilarious, because he rambled in his thick NEUUUUU YOOOWK drawl and i don't think anyone understood a word he said. also, he had banged on about some sort of pink floyd light show for his gigs, and if anything it was more like a wedding disco. but thoroughly enjoyed it.
