Yeh vw can be really excellent but there are some very mediocre releases too. I agree about Floral Shoppe, its not up there with the highest quality stuff. If you do like vaporwave I would definitely recommend you have a look at Dream Catalogue releases - if you have Spotify, theres a DC playlist which has most of their releases on it and is fantastic even as a starting point.... In particular id recd - 2 8 1 4, HKE/Hong Kong Express, Vince Dolphin, infinity Frequencies. Enjoy! :)

ha i'm back, i just thought i needed a break from music in general. it kind of consumed way too much time and i thought cutting it off completely was useful (which meant no more what.cd or last.fm)

You're welcome.) It's quite bad that there are also no Wolfram's lyrics on the Web.

Haha, I'm glad I escaped your rage! It's tough to get your music out there. I figure I'm friends with people on here for a reason, that is, we see eye to eye musically... so I'd like to think some will appreciate what I do. I make music for myself but its hugely inspiring when others get some enjoyment as well. Cheers!

Andrew! You are literally the only person who has ever agreed with me about "Crush"!! Ha, I felt the same way as you about it in high school, and everyone else thought it was such a happy song. Little morgan is just like, "but the /agony/! why can't you feel the /agony/?" :P anyway, hope you're well! Feel free to suggest anything you think I should check out for the list; I am always down for some sad sack recs :)

Well it's an album with outtakes from when she recorded Dead Deer so that's partially why they sound so similar :3

ok just tried it out (was in there for a couple mins) and it seems like it could work out well. it's just a matter of everyone having spotify then. i have to use a fake facebook account to chat though ha. and i actually found out about raymond scott when looking up proto-techno stuff a while back because his three Soothing Sounds for Baby records are cited as such. I actually posted those back in sibnarc; if you want links to them i could pm you.

Yea I know what you mean. At the moment, it's definitely my least favorite TMoE release and I don't think it'll ever surpass any of the other ones but I'm just a huge sucker for how sincere his vocals and lyrics always sound/are. The electric guitar doesn't annoy me as much as the production but yeah, it's definitely a step down from his stuff from 2010 (especially that EP, oh god).

I love sharing music with others so I'm glad to hear you're finding the collage to be useful.
