Looks like someone has more plays than someone else. I wonder who will hit 100,000 first?

Woah, that's a lot of stuff! :D I'm gonna search for it, cool ;) Mmm, let's see what haven't you heared... get some Dark Ambient with Elegi-Varde, or a great Doom Jazz: Bohren & der Club of Gore-Black Earth... Yeah, Doom Jazz @_@ is awesome; Fabrizio Paterlini-Viaggi in Aeromobile... That 3 albums for now. (I should make my 2009's Top 10, too :P) Cheers!

Oh thanks; I'll search for they. These I've been very busy, I don't have very much free time and right, I haven't use Shellife since the day I registered, but I will try to get time for that. By the Way, have you ever hear Jóhann Jóhannsson ? If not, listen to the And In The Endless Pause There Came The Sound Of Bees... really amazing neo-classical sounds. Cheers !

Sure.. i don't see Riceboy Sleeps in your collection, is a project of the Sigur Rós singer with his boyfriend, very nice. And I see that you also like Post Rock, there's a group similar to Ef called Immanu El, from Sweden too.. and I don't know... Lustmord, have you heared Lustmord ? Is like the dad of Dark Ambient, with his CD Heresy.

Aside from that, also loan your ears to [artist]Stendeck[/artist]'s brand new album released on Tympanik Audio entitled Sonnambula. Truly a remarkable piece of work. For being in existence in just under two years, that label has released some really quality work in darker electronic-oriented music. A great ambient album to listen to is [artist]Solar Field[/artist]'s Movements. Approach by [artist]Subheim[/artist] is also very, very top notch. There's an incalculable amount of quality music out there and I'm dying to hear as much as I can listen to!

As far as IDM goes: Golden Pines by [artist]Hecq[/artist] is fantastic (Night Falls, released in the same year, is way more melancholy, which is absolutely fine by me. I love melancholy sounds). I can't wait to see wait is in store for Hecq fans in 2009.

Hi! Thanks for the recommendations! I appreciate it. I have Music for Airports but I haven't listened to that yet. I've listened to Before and After Science extensively and I love every song on it. I have a few things to recommend to you if you haven't checked them out already: pick up [artist]Belong[/artist]'s October Language - it's very drone-ish. Definitely one of the better drone albums I've listened to recently. [artist]Clint Mansell[/artist]'s The Fountain OST is absolutely fantastic, I think. Nice melancholy sounds. I see you already listen to The Dead Texan; awesome! Other instrumental recommendations that I can suggest that you listen to include Penny Black by [artist]Chequerboard[/artist]. To me, it's a very refreshing blend of guitar instrumentation fused with glitch-esque electronic sounds.
