Since you listen to Pich Sophea you may also like reading my article on Cambodian music. http://www.laboratoriummuzycznychfuzji.com/2013/06/labopedia-muzyka-kambodzy-panstwa-w.html If you like it you may also click "lubię to" button to like my website (on the right handside of the page). There's a translation tool in the top right corner.

Cool. Yep. I love instrumental guitarists too. After listening to a certain number of different guitar instrumentalists though I think everyone becomes more perceptive to differences between guitarists (and also frustrated at the inexhaustible supply of different guys out there who play really well).

Nope, I didn't forget that. I'm assuming that's a response to my recent comment on EJ's page. If you listen to the first G3 live album Eric's tone and playing stick out instantly. Not to jump to conclusions, but just because Cliffs of Dover is his best known song and one of his most Satriani-like, doesn't mean Eric is Satch-like the rest of the time. Overall he has about as much in common with Stevie Ray Vaughan as he does with Satch or Vai. Both Satch and Vai frequently utilise their whammy bars and have some similar techniques, while Eric consistently shows his roots as a Texan bluesman, IMO. It's all relative though really, compared to a 60s or 70s guitar idol the three of them sound similar to each other, but if you listen around to people like Andy Timmons particularly, and to a lesser extent Paul Gilbert, Marty Friedman, Tony MacAlpine then EJ sounds a lot less like Satch or Vai. Don't forget the last European G3 tour featured Robert Fripp, doesn't make him sound like Vai.
