to be honest, Carti just inspired me to start smoking. It just looks so damn cool when he holds his cigarette in his beautiful hand and slowly brings it to his soft lips to pull on it. It just looks punk and that's why I bought my first cigarettes, meanwhile I manage to smoke 4 in a row without coughing and all thanks to Carti. I have already told all my friends that I will end my friendship with them if they do not accept that I am a vampire and therefore have to live like Jordan Carter. SLATT

So ... I pulled up his most popular piece and I have this to say. How can someone who can't even form a coherent sentence become famous? So I listened then I realized what I already knew. This isn't what hip-hop was where the lyrics and interesting story telling brought a piece to life. This is mundane work polished over a beat that knocks to make it sound appealing to a generation who just want to escape from reality. Idealization of nonsense, escapism and drugs is easy when you are a scared child and it feels like the world is ending. It's easy to like garbage when it's thrust in your face like it's culture. It's easy to be brain washed into literally becoming the generation that we can all deem the real proles of society. Plebs hate all you want but your downvote only shows your anti-intellectualism and internal conflict of being herded by an industry that wants you to be stupid and doing drugs or crimes to feed a prison system that wants you as a slave. You were born more than this
