Hi! I just successfully scrobbled 24 tracks I listened to on Songbird without connection to Last.fm earlier today. Funny thing is, on my profile front page, only 11 scrobbles show up as being from today, but when I click on "See more" the rest is in the list there too. Not sure why that is, but it seems all are making it into my history one way or another. Do your total plays go up by more than 11 after scrobbling?

My profile here is horribly incomplete thanks to lots of issues with scrobbling. I use Songbird for most of my music listening, and its Last.fm add-on has some... bugs. I can listen to two hundred songs and only get the last 11 scrobbled because of the bugs. Thus, I have a lot more plays than this page lets on. Oh well...

Please have a look at this screenshot. On the one hand, it shows how I set time/timezone in the device emulator for Boston. On the other hand it shows the website I quoted in my last two shouts. Using these settings, scrobbling worked as expected. Please point out how your configuration differs from these settings.

No, the timezone on your device and on your last.fm profile can be different. Internally, the Audioscrobbler protocol expects all date/time data to be UTC. Thus the Compact Framework is used to convert your system time to UTC and obviously something goes wrong at this point. What timezone have you set in "Clocks & Alarms" and does the time you have set differ from the time displayed on this website? It is my understanding that for DST, Windows does not alter the timezone setting (i.e. this should be GMT-6 if you are located in Minneapolis, which I presume from your events list). Instead, only the value for current time itself should be modified (i.e. in-/decreased one hour).

It worked for me this way: In "Clocks & Alarms" I set the timezone to GMT-6. Then I corrected the time according to this website to take daylight saving time into account. The next track scrobbled was correctly displayed as played "two minutes ago" on my profile.

That's a known issue with the setup file of v1.7 on WM2003. It should work if you used the new v1.8 which I finished yesterday (as a group member, you'll receive an additional notification mail later today, too).
