hell yeah it was great! gotta listen again. so happy they made another record finally. you should check out the album sugarwater by swings! similar melancholy, jazzy vibe with good musicianship but in much shorter form. one of my favorites from this year.

Hey man, sorry for the late reply - they're just the audio from the things that are on the vimeo, but new jams are on the way. Here's a saleontomorrow zip featuring an extra bonuz track that I notice you didn't have. Enjoy! http://www.mediafire.com/download/vbpf4ncbezrky04/saleontomorrow.zip

wow that's amazing. did you fanboy it out n stuff? i mean wow, must have been a sign or something. surely you told him your godly last.fm play count. can't wait to see ttng again. and just as excited to see mylets, i don't really listen to him but the last time i saw him his live performance was unreal. oh, and toe -- that was probably the best concert i have been to, ever. you must see them when they come around again.

Agreed. That and Today's Active Lifestyles are definitely their best. Rule so hard. Such a quietly influential band. Especially on math rock. Have you heard any of their other stuff? Haven't checked anything but those four.

Yeah, I kinda thought it was a little too polished. But still has that characteristically weird Polvo sound. Solid album nonetheless but I liked In Prism better.

Thanks for the info! Haha wow I had no idea that was you. Really like that new Pretend song on their facebook. Whenever the album comes out, no way it won't be good.

Ok, as if there weren't already enough coincidences, the random guy you recently chatted up, cheezeybaines, is a real-life friend of mind and we're starting a band. lulz

Thank you so much for that, it's been out of print for a decade, I'll grab it when I get home. They do sound a lot like Radiohead at times, their singer Pettipoole sounds like what Yorke could have been if he cheered up and lost the British accent. They're actually from my home state of Iowa — we have to show the world that we have more bands than Slipknot hahah.

also, didn't hear about the new Pretend album. Just got into them. Psyched for that for sure.

I often take the amount of good shows I get on the east coast for granted. Yeah you have an awesome taste too. Love all of the pictures on the side and your bio haha. We have a few friends in common too. RIP Algernon :(

Same! It's not that I didn't enjoy it, it's just not something I'd commit the listen to again for a while.
