i'll make a list. He got a lot of stuff through his friendship with the Subterraneous Crew & when folks came to town he'd get their cds. Quite a few I've never heard of & will gladly send any you want your way.

hey wrecked, yeah still listening to yr "hip hop for dummies" too. My son left me with about 100 hip hop cds to wade through--keep or destroy...not making too much progress.

our music compatibility died! What's up with that? yeah, I deleted all the posts, just a new start, and the old last.fm was cluttered by them, much better this way. listen to more of the same shit I do, so that the arbitrary measurement of musical compatibility can be closer for us!! doit!!

whats up man? I tried to send that declaime, but the file was too big. I'll try again though. Is there a file-sharing base that can handle over 300mb a file? Dope Avatar by the way.

definitely a binary fan. room215 introduced me to them. Literally and figuratively. (Standing on line at the Blind Pig, One & the guys stopped to talk to him & he introduced me)

Hey, I resent that recommendation.. and yeah, Dan Deacon is a bit brilliant. I'm sure Ziggy from the TME group linked to one of his songs a few months ago.. but one of my mates was asking me to go see him live the other night so I've been checking out the new album - it sounds epic from what I've heard.

Totes, it was only the Pilhofer CD I'd grabbed previously. I think it was around the time I first came across Mike Sammes' work. Old 60's/70's adverts are hilariously great. I'm going to check out what Thes One has done once I've given the originals a full listen. I'll let you know what I think in time.

hey i really liked how you had all the producers tagged on your rap mix in addition to the guest rappers so i've been going through and adding producers. my one question is, is there a good site for finding production credits aside from wikipedia? wikipedia doesn't have some albums and if i don't have the actual liner notes how do i find the producers?

oh, man. you're not alone--there are about 4 groups I belong to that depend on getting tags right & spending some time bitching about the ass-hats that can't get their tags straight! And so many who make comps take NO time to makes sure the tags are good. Wouldn't matter so much on a tape (I suppose) but digital is critical!
