Greetings fellow 2005 veteran. We have a lot of music in common; I'm surprised I never wound up here before.

I'm good thanks. Whereabouts were you in London? I live in South Kensington, about midway between the Victoria and Albert Museum and Hyde Park.

Haha, well i've heard 'Nautical Twilight' (Love!) and 'Edge of the Moon' (not so sure...). I'm saving 'Carry' and 'Shattering Sea' for the release day though, as i'm really excited for those! I'm glad you think it's so wonderful! Are the other songs better than 'Edge of the Moon'? x

cheers, and likewise :) I'm liking it quite a lot, though it's got its weak points (i.e. Babyfather) - but I love the title track so much, I've never been that much of a Sade fan until this song - what're your thoughts?

Hey -- It appears you are a fan of Patty Loveless. I'd like to introduce you to an Americana/Country singer/songwriter I represent that has drawn comparisons to Patty. -- http://www.last.fm/music/Reagan+Boggs -- "Reagan Boggs is a fantastic songwriter, and powerful singer. 'The Graves' (track 9) is brilliant, edgy Americana and 'Mixed Signals' (track 10) sounds like the Ronstadt repertoire from 1973. This disc may be your most pleasant discovery of the year!" -- Rob Reinhart - Acoustic Cafe - Radio's best international showcase for new and classic acoustic music. -- Comparisons include; Emmylou Harris, Tift Merritt, Lucinda Williams, Kasey Chambers, Kathleen Edwards, Patty Loveless, Linda, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Rhonda Vincent and Allison Moorer. Hope you enjoy!

For you today, I think I'm going to recommend The Novellos, this great local band I've discovered, enjoy :) xxx

Diamond in my Crown, without a doubt. I've caught almost every show on the fall tour --- and that's her new encore. Incredible, you can hear a pin drop, and last night she had tears doing it. Amazing.
