Title Fight are trying too hard to rip off NOFX, All these bands like Man Overboard and The Story So Far rip of blink 'n' New Found but violate everything good about them. And also theres all these bands that try to take metalcore back to its r00ts like the ghost inside and while she sleeps and just rip off 1st wave metalcore.

Most music is good when done well, I just like music where I can hear creativity. And yeah that bad has more older screamo/hardcore influences vocally so that puts most people off. Listen to some Saetia. Super screamo, super off putting for most people.

That first band reminded me of these guys you should check them out: Brother Bear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mpi3VjokWJQ and it's crazy on last.fm that being as an ocean band is a similar artist with one of my friend's bands.

I've never listened to it, I've heard people joke about it before though. I listened to your link on your facebook. Not for me, repetitive open chords are not my thing. But I'll check those other ones out.

... important styles of music, that developed in the 21th century, Core without Grindcore and Dubstep, developed from former styles, maybe, because since Porngrind and all the other sick shit were invented, the borders of brutality are simply reached, maybe not, mixed together, pardon the nested sentence. (Punk-->Hardcore Punk-->(Emotional) Hardcore + Metal Influences-->Metalcore /Deathcore.

The example with the dogs is wonderful, because it supports my argumentation. If you say the allophone "dog" covers all metal, then a German Shepherd is thrash metal and a pug (were they called pugs? in germany they are called boxers) is black metal or whatever. But, as well as in classifying dog races, it doesn't really make sense to split them up in more detailed races. No one differs a "Bambergian German Shepherd" from "Nurembergian German Shepherd", and why? Because those cities both are more or less known for their German Shepherds, breed (or bred?) with slight differences from the other one, but they aren't important enough to be a completely new race. --- And what you say about "Music has always been about mixing together what people have done before" doesn't really make sense. This is how it is today. Back in the 20th century, music was basically about making former styles harder (blues-->rock-->metal, as said in a very simplified way), but the only ...

Yeah, and then we add some trance sounds and call that fucked up shit errrrm "brutal trancecore", maybe we should add a "progressive", so it seems we're innovative. What i wanted to say (or did i even want to say that? i dunno) is, that popular music, from metal to rock to rap to techno has reached is zenith in the whole bandwidth. i have no clue what's the point of these 1401 signs, but who cares.

"music" --- i'm way younger than you are and obviously nontheless way more intelligent than you. there aren't any existing genres such as "Heavy hardcore" or "progressive brutal deathcore" as well as there is no "hollywood power metal" or whatever. these are only genre names made by average bands to show how individual they are and how much they don't fit into existing genres. but, of course, in their desperate search for indivituality they become only more mainstream, because this is what every pubertal pseudo-intellectual member of today's youth is about: "individuality". --- "obviously knows nothing about music made in the past decade" --of course i do. but you should consider that, maybe, today's music is simply not as innovative as it was, for example, in the eighties. today it's not about inventing new genres anymore, but about mixing every shit you find in the past with the shit of today, only more brutal (death metal + hardcore --> metalcore + more brutal --> deathcore)

Oh hey dude! Thank you for caring about my music taste. Truth is, i don't come on last.fm any more much. I'm kind of more on grooveshark. http://grooveshark.com/#/imsquidward50. But I should of realized, that really, not all dubstep sounds the same. You listen to some better stuff. (It kind of just irritated me when skrillex and bassnectar was what all the cool kids decided they'd listen too. i thought, yea, its not that good, and i like bad music sometimes, but i won't waste any time tying to find the gems of other artists or songs out there in the genre.) Anyways, your music taste is pretty sophisticated and diversified: I respect that, you probably have a higher devotion and time to music than i do. Consider my opinion on dubstep converted. Also, that's the second time today i saw the word 'clusterfuck' pop up, so points.
