just finished listening, I enjoyed everything. the songs that stood out for me were Boy by Desire, Higher by Orion, Marea (We Lost Dancing), Kyle (I Found You) and Sabrina (I Am A Party) by Fred again, Beatific by Glass Candy, Blossom by Glüme, Spoiled Love and Strange Town by Buzzy Lee, Sylph Fossil by Iglooghost, Boomerang by Dawn Richard, Hatfield 1980 by Everything But The Girl, Too Many People by Paul McCartney and Skyskrapa by jonatan leandoer96. I'm obsessed with the albums Actual Life by Fred again, After Dark 3 and BEATBOX by Glass Candy. I'm gonna give a second listen to everything else because there's definitely some growers there! I'm also gonna explore more Chromatics, Johnny Jewel and Glass Candy. thank you again :)

You need to listen to The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live at Madison Square Garden, some of the best versions of their pre-disbandment songs.

Oooh that's a good one, it's a toss up between that and the album version, I really couldn't decide. ~ Also, North American Scum is miles ahead of the album version imo

I really like it! i've never been a fan of Lady Gaga other than a few songs but this is her first album that I liked front to back. There's just so many hits, but so far my fav is "Fun Tonight", but I also think this album's timing was really perfect with my recent obsession with club music and club culture. what do you think?

I liked it, but not enough to go back to it yet lol. There's just SO MUCH music that I rarely listen to anything twice these days. But I definitely liked Chromatica's consistency, both of sound and of quality, so when I want pop perfection I know what to reach for.

Congrats, you have enjoyed already >207k track plays :-) ... I discovered us both in the "Scrobble Leaderboard" section (May 15-21): last DOT fm/user/vktrln/listening-report/week ... How is it going on your side of the globe ? I guess you and your family also don't go out so much recently in this worldwide pandemic, same as we in Germany... Stay safe, Sam

Hello! My name is Filipe, I have a project called "Tudo Passa" and I just released my second EP called "Toque", this time in a more electronic vein, focused on synthesizers, something kind of lo-fi / psychedelic. I'm posting here to see if I can spread this new EP out there, I hope you can listen to it and enjoy it, here's the link: https://youtu.be/SCnecECKWUI

hmm i think it's pretty meh as a track, i don't like the nin-inspired sound >.< but the lyrics and video made me think she's gonna release a concept album, with cyberpunk stuff, AI etc. she said "‘We Appreciate Power’ is written from the perspective of a Pro-A.I. Girl Group Propaganda machine who use song, dance, sex and fashion to spread goodwill towards Artificial Intelligence (it’s coming whether you want it or not). Simply by listening to this song, the future General AI overlords will see that you’ve supported their message and be less likely to delete your offspring."

that's fair, for me it's kind of personal, this past summer i had a lot of highs and lows and this album was the perfect soundtrack for all those moments so it's pretty special for me. but other than that, 2018 was the year i really got into 90s rock (especially Smashing Pumpkins) and to me this album sounds like Deafheaven wanted to make their version of a Smashing Pumpkins album and i really loved that. also "aviary" is an amazing album! i really like it

That's interesting, I wouldn't have made a connection between Deafheaven and Smashing Pumpkins. The band that kept coming to my mind was Alcest for some reason lol. Glad to find another Aviary lover, it's so experimental but beautiful.

Also, it's cool that Porno by AF is so high on your charts, I've always felt it's really underrated. :P

I like it a lot!! It'll take a few months for me to have an opinion on it but my early impression is that this album is their moodiest, most foreign-sounding (i totally get the Akira inspiration now), and also their most sombre in a weird way. TONYA is the defining track of the album for me, it pretty much encapsulates everything that this album is. what do you think?

I think you're right, it will only get better with time! Very moody for sure. I was so happy to hear a studio version of TONYA - just beautiful - and I'm also liking HONEY and WEIGHT the most from the early listens. And I also think Dom is a friggin standout through the whole album, so that makes me very happy too, he's so underrated for some reason I can never figure out!

yeah Weight is pretty amazing, I haven't really looked into the lyrics of the album yet but just from the way they rap it sounds very intense emotionally so I'm gonna look further into lyrics. TONYA is the only one whose lyrics I know and it's really intense, I think Bearface's verse is my fav moment in the entire album, his melodies are so beautiful..but yeah I'm really excited to see what they'll do next -- I REALLY want "Let's Get Married" -- also looking forward to the documentary cause it seems like they address Ameer a lot. also can you believe Saturation III only came out 9 months ago? so much has happened to this band since then that Saturation Trilogy feels like came out few years ago or something

With the hype for LET'S GET MARRIED I reckon we'll get it on the third album of The Best Years of Our Lives Trilogy, but no promises I guess, it was originally for PUPPY wasn't it? I know when I was looking up lyrics through my first listen quite a few weren't even figured out yet, be interesting to see whats up now. My god yeah they are so prolific, like not even just music they're giving us films and docos and just do they even sleep???
