On the 6th of November 2010 the climax of the Berlin Music Days - FLY BerMuDa - will take place on one of Berlin's biggest event stages: Flughafen Tempelhof. A location fit to hold the Crème de la Crème of the electronic music scenes finest.
An array of highlights has been setup by the FLY BerMuDa team for the portion of the festival that will take place at Flughafen Tempelhof. Techno luminaries such as Sven Väth, Loco Dice, Minus master- mind Richie Hawtin and star of Berlin's latest Techno movie - Paul Kalkbrenner - whose performance marks the return to his original stomping grounds after a year of extensive touring, are all confirmed as your cabin crew.
Famed “Wahlberliners” Booka Shade have also taken time out of their ridiculously busy worldwide tour schedule to prepare one of their rare live performances in the Capitol.
Berlin bred artist Oliver Koletzki and his band project; 'The Koletzkis' showcase their melancholic love songs of electro and pop origin that have slowly developed into a soundtrack for city’s loved and lonely. Berlin music legend Thomas Fehlmann, whose musical resume is longer than just about anyone on the bill, finally returns to the stage after a stint scoring the musical documentary "24H Berlin".
FLY BerMuDa is an event to celebrate Berlin's club culture, which means we haven’t forgotten to invite some of its most well-known nightlife characters. Tiefschwarz will be presenting their new live act, along with the city's Deep House faction of Dixon, Âme, and Henrik Schwarz. Who are surely not to be outdone by Mobilee's House aficionado Sebo K. Further underground vibes come courtesy of the newly formed, Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra and after hour kings, The Cheapers.
This is not just a listening party, as the visual stimulation will be provided by the Berlin based - but internationally requested - Pfadfinderei. They are working on a second to none visual installation that stands neck and neck with the first class sound system that will also be put in place.
Such an attractive event is sure to pull the best of the best from all over the globe to Berlin for a cultural melting pot of ideas, sights, sounds, conversations and of course parties, that will bring a global com- munity together in what is arguably the current Mecca of electronic dance music: Berlin.
Living up to its reputation as an affordable city, Tickets for this year's most influential Electronic music festival in Berlin are on sale for only €42,50 + pre-sale charge.
